Position : Temp Staff – International Cooperation
Contract period : 6 months in the first instance, with an option to extend up to a further 6 months until 1 Jan 2026
- Temporary staff who worked for 3 months or more are entitled to staff benefits.
- Total duration for engagement of temporary staff is capped at one year.
Working hours : Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6pm, Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm with an hour lunch break
Hourly rate : $18.50 - Degree with no work experience
Job scope :
• We are looking for a temporary staff to oversee all matters related to our division’s finances including budgeting, procurement, financial performance as well as compliance.
• The role will involve budget planning, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with governance standards. It will also include providing advice on procurement policies, resolving vendor issues, managing purchases etc.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned including operational and admin support to the Team
• While we have indicated the Job Level as “Assistant Manager” below, we are open to considering “Senior/Executive” if they have relevant work/public sector experience.
Job requirements :
• Experience in public sector administration including budgeting, finances, procurement
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethics
