Reporting to the Director of Project and Construction Management, the Construction Manager is responsible for all aspects of the onsite process and construction of major projects within the Department of Development and Project Management team or as required by the department head. Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Handling of the fleet requisitions, sourcing and making the necessary arrangement for delivery to the vessels
• Monitoring and controlling of the vessels consumables to prevent unnecessary wastage
• To keep track of the cargo hoses registry, lifting gears registry and PPE of all shipboard personnel
• Monitoring of the vessels LSA and FFA
• Appointed as safety committee member to carry out tool-box meetings for all the vessels
• To arrange and co-ordinate between crew and clinic for medical appointment or consultation and monitoring of the vessels’ medical supplies as per statutory requirements
• Preparation of crew employment contract
• Application of flag state endorsements, Harbour craft licence renewal, etc, via MPA and Digiport, ensuring compliance with regulations of all relevant authorities and the certification of all vessels is maintained in accordance with the relevant Class and Flag State requirements
• To maintain the personnel files for all crew members and ensure all member files are comprehensive with current documentation of crew credentials that being updated accordingly in a timely manner
• To assist in planning and oversees the assignment of the officers and ratings for the fleet, crew change rotations, ensuring that rotations are executed in a timely basis, the vessels are properly manned and updated as per MPA requirements via Digiport
• Sourcing, recruitment and carry out initial interview of the ship crews
• Providing induction training/ orientation to all newly join ship crews
• Providing general support to the ship staffs and making schedule visits to vessels for crewing matters
• Any other fleet management related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the management

Requirements

• Some relevant working experience in similar capacity.
• A team player and ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
• Ability to speak Bahasa Indonesia and possess of Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage.
• Must be contactable 24/7 and be available to board the vessels as and when require.
• Proficient with computer software
• Strong sense of integrity, professionalism and good communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assist the Project Manager and Planning team in supporting the planning and execution of construction projects which primarily focuses on quantity surveying tasks while also providing valuable assistance in various aspects of project planning and coordination related to the material take off and work front and variation quantities.

Specific Role:

• Conducting detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications.
• Estimating material, labor, and equipment costs required for construction projects.
• Reviewing and verifying contractor claims and change orders related to quantities.
• Monitoring project costs and providing regular updates to the Lead Planner and Project Services Lead.
• Collaborating with the planning team to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assisting in the coordination of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project deadlines.
• Providing input on project planning and scheduling to optimize efficiency and resource utilization based on the achieved production norms.

Requirements:

• Degree in any Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas offshore platform projects
• Familiar with offshore platforms, modules, FPSOs, jackets, etc.
• Good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Conduct cycle count by comparing physical stock take to the system and highlight and address abnormality.
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure they can be reconciled.
• Determine and make provision for slow moving & obsolete stocks in store.
• Tracking of near expiry stocks and highlight to MD .
• Manage reconciliation of damage stocks and aging stocks.
• Manage store transfer and stock adjustment effectively.
• Review the workflow and liaise with the respective department to in place preventive measures to reduce stock loss.
• Resolve any inventory issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare & Submit Weekly Inventory Report to MD
• Assist on internal and external annual audit stock take
• Other Ad Hoc projects or responsibilities as required.
• Prior experience in a similar role.
