RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Development

• Drive the product development projects for the next generation PV modules. Understand PV industry testing requirement and design FMEA.

Energy Yield Monitoring

• Manage the energy yield monitoring activities for existing and new sites. Lead discussion to understand the PV modules performance and propose the improvement enablers based on the monitoring outcomes.

Energy Yield Modeling

• Able to apply the PV energy yield simulation software for comparing the simulated performance with the actual field data to draw links and highlight the technical advantages of the products.

Others

• Assist R&D and process, manufacturing teams with technical analyses, troubleshooting and improvement projects.
• Plan, coordinate and be ready to work hands-on in the labs to conduct experiments and build test modules.
• Some travelling to conferences, seminars, and research institutes is to be expected.

• MSc / Ph.D. in Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in product development / field installation / system-level research.
• Working experience in Solar/Semiconductors/Electronics manufacturing industries is an advantage.
• Expertise in PV modules energy yield simulation (PVSyst is a must).
• Field experiences in system design and installation.
• Knowledge and experience in PV modules characterization and analysis.
• Knowledge and experience in PV module Certification procedure.
• Possess excellent project management skills.
• SolidWorks /Autocad drawing capability.
• Ability to co-operate with different professionals (operations, equipment suppliers, research institutes, supply chain).
• Good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.

Additional Advantageous Skills

• Hands on experience in system design and installation: Familiar with PV site installation, system sizing and understanding of actual field condition and constraints.
• Product Reliability Test Design: Familiar with PV industry IEC testing - e.g. Damp-heat, Thermal Cycling, Humidity Freeze, Light/Potential induced degradation, thermal shock.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for highly motivated, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer, who will be responsible for setup, ramp-up, maintenance and improvement of manufacturing systems, with the ability to train and lead a manufacturing team to achievethe company goals such as Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost in the most economical manner possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reports to Senior Manager, Manufacturing
• Responsible for the setup, ramp-up, maintenance and improvement of manufacturing systems by implementing upto-date methods to achieve the department goals set by the management.
• Responsible for leading a manufacturing team to achieve the company goals such as Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costin the most economical manner possible.
• Safety
  • Ensure compliance of safety by team at work

  • To observe and abide to all Environmental Health and Safety related rules and procedures in compliance to theEnvironmental Health and Safety policy.
• Quality
  • Responsible to ensure that team complies strictly to work methods, procedures and standards.
  • Lead the shift in performing 5S in factory to maintain good housekeeping in work area
• Delivery
  • Shift operations:
    • To work with Shift Supervisor to develop work schedule and prioritizes daily activities within the shift tomeet production schedule.
    • Set and monitor manufacturing KPIs for production operators such as attendance, discipline, and workperformance
    • Drives, tracks and reports shift production performance such as production output, quality, utilization,material usage and yield. Identify causes to shift KPI misses and recommends/propose solutions toimprove shift output performances.o SMT (Self-managed team) operations:
    • Setup and Implement line operational procedures, manufacturing system, and ensure compliance withcorporate requirements and procedures
    • Maintain optimum utilization of equipment and resources and constantly review methods of WIPmanagement/ run mode
    • Involved in daily line sustaining troubleshooting on process and quality related issues. Able to stay backlate or come back at time to recover the production in event of any line hard down or catastrophicfailures.
    • Manage all non-conformance material and scraps disposition as according to the process controlprocedures and quality related procedures.
    • Perform other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specificgoals of the division.
    • Makes recommendations on improvement to production processes, equipment and material controls toimprove efficiency and effectiveness of work area.
• Training and Competency
  • Coach and motivates subordinates by conducting regular communication sessions and performance reviews.
  • Drive training competency of operators to ensure sufficient coverage in the Shift
  • Identify, Groom and Train Area Leaders, Shift Leaders and Supervisors
• Continuous Improvement
  • Participate actively or lead in projects such as cost reduction, yield improvement, Cpk improvement, newproduct / process development, new machine qualification, process optimization, throughput improvement andnew material evaluation/qualification
  • Drive the team of operators in the SMT to participate in all continuous improvement projects related to cost,quality & service using Six-Sigma, Gemba, Kaizen or similar applicable methodology

Technical / Professional:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering
• Must be highly energetic and have the drive to get things done ahead of plan.
• Skills and abilities to perform job include: Good Leadership skills, Analytical Thought Process, Effectivecommunication and presentation skills. Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills, computer literacy, interpersonal skills. • Willingness to travel / work off shift, long hours and at time comeback to support Line recovery as this is a 24 X 7 factory

Requirement:

Job Responsibilities:

• Overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet project completion targets.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site (periodical site inspection and attending meetings)
• Lead in Site Coordination and execution relating to the construction project.
• Ensure that the construction, installation and assembly of components, equipment and systems of the construction is aligned with the construction plans and drawing designs.
• Assist Construction Manager and Project Manager in sub-contractor management, on-site technical, engineering matters.
• To lead a team of supervisors and engineers, to ensure, supervise and monitor projects are carried out in accordance with the company’s operating procedures, quality standards & project specifications.
• Facilitate regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements, processes and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant building project experience in Main-contractor environment
• Be able to work independently as well as acquiring good interpersonal skills to coordinate between the various disciplines and consortium partners.
• Must be technically inclined and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous in drawing preparation and documentation
• Experienced with Building / Industrial projects will be a plus.
• Experienced with Public project.
• Able to work 5.5 days week.

Job Description: -

· Collaborate with process Engineers and the Engineering team to establish QC requirements.

· Document inspection criteria and develop quality plans.

· Work with QA process and product team on corrective action with quality issues.

· Ensure all products meet the required quality standards.

· Manage the product quality from raw material to finish products for assigned customer account or project basis.

· Implement and improve the quality control from incoming inspection to outgoing inspection.

· Liaise with customer complain or any internal non-conformance, lead in problem solving & documentation & internal communication.

· Meet quality objective set by management.

· Train, assess and certify QA inspectors/ technician when required.

· Perform internal audit and quality system audit periodically.

Job Requirements: -

· Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering.

· At least 5 year of relevant working experience in electronics product manufacturing environment.

· Able to comfortable liaise and resolve quality issues, implement corrective action ,q note rise,RFA,NCR closing and establish quality control process.

· Knowledge in ISO9001and API standards

· Basic knowledge in product measurement & GD&T.

· CMM Knowledge ,Height Gauge and other related measuring instruments must know.
