Key Responsibilities

Job description

• Proactively engaging with customers on service sales and technical inquiries to support the sales team in meeting sales growth objectives and nurturing positive client relationships.
• Provides technical support during site installation, troubleshooting and testing & commissioning.
• Deliver in-house (phone/email) and on-site service support, as well as conduct demonstrations for potential customers.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a technical expertise in assessing sites, conducting detailed drawings, and estimating Solar project capacity and costs.

Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Ensure all fabrication work is done with acceptable quality by daily monitoring include inspecting according to specification, procedure and applicable standards.
2. Understand all technical specification and standard compliance and ability to handle troubleshooting project correction.
3. Prepare welding methods, PQR assembly and other CWI duties.
4. Co-ordinate, communicate with member even carrying out inspection of all the welding and associated actions in accordance with the approved Welding Procedure Specification, drawings and Company Specification and requirements.
5. Co-ordinate and liaise with Production personnel to ensure that all inspection stages comply to inspection and test plans on material or structure.

10. Manage and supervise a team of inspectors / technicians in meeting departmental quality goals and production schedule.

Competence Requirement

JOB SCOPE

Job Description

• Develop and create 2D and 3D piping layouts, plans, isometrics, ensure that piping designs are optimized for efficiency, ease of maintenance, and compliance with project and industry standards
• Create detailed piping layouts and general arrangements for the plant, ensuring that pipe routing minimizes interference with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical) and optimizes space utilization
• Collaborate with stress engineers to ensure pipe routing and support arrangements can handle thermal expansion, seismic loads, and pressure differential

Job Description

• Develop detailed designs, layouts, and specifications for piping systems, ensure proper pipe support design based on piping loads, thermal expansion, and seismic considerations.

• Assists with the preparation of procedures, risk assessment, HSE work method statement and etc. under the supervision of senior team members and Project Manager to ensure all the requirements have been fulfilled
• Prepares job-list, work schedule and planning of manpower resources (i.e. yard and contractors) and facilities, working closely with the team members
• Participates in project meeting with Project team members and stakeholders to note on project specifications and report on the status of the work progress
• Liaises closely with HSE department and subcontractors for proper on-site coordination, working with QA/QC team members, owners, statutory and classification authorities on inspection arrangement and compliance review
• Maintains the equipment/ machineries at the workshop and on-board, ensuring the proper working condition, timely calibration, repair, or servicing as required
• Understands emerging engineering practices by participating in educational opportunities, professional organisations; reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks
• Recommends changes to work method/ process by reviewing the workflow and work process to implement changes for improvement and to achieve operational effectiveness and functionality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Marine Engineering or related engineering disciplines

Job Description

• Oversee process design for process plant (Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, etc) including process simulation, mass balance, process flow diagram (PFD), P&ID, equipment layout, sizing calculation, control philosophy, process input for instrument/valve list, etc
• Provide process input and coordinate with other disciplines (including the BIM modelling team) for the design, installation and T&C work
• Oversee technical review of process equipment/system vendors’ proposal and submission during procurement, detailed design and installation stages, support the procurement and tender work
• Prepare the process submissions and resubmissions to project consultants and client according to project schedule and clear the submittal comments
• Manage the process equipment suppliers to meet the project schedule and quality requirements for design, installation and testing & commissioning
• Support on the testing and commissioning work

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical/environmental/mechanical engineering
• Minimum 4 Years’ experience in process design and engineering work, ideally in water/wastewater treatment projects (Including sludge treatment); For senior position, candidate must have at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with local environmental regulations (e.g., PUB standards) and international design codes
• Strong understanding of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization
• Must have advanced computer literacy in commonly usedsoftware applications such as MS Office
• Knowledge in Naviswork and Bentley View Software will be an added advantage

RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a technical expertise in assessing sites, conducting detailed drawings, and estimating Solar project capacity and costs.
• Formulate comprehensive design specifications and functional requirements for the region, ensuring alignment with project needs.
• Complete system designs for projects including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of balance of system location and interconnection details.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of factors influencing system performance.
• Partner with the O&M Team to evaluate system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform software simulations of solar photovoltaic (PV) system performance & energy production
• Execute design calculations, encompassing voltage drop analysis, fault current assessments, and system optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with EPC contract specifications and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and optimizing project outcomes including on-site engineering support.
• Collaborate closely with contractors to review and approve engineering drawing submissions, maintaining rigorous quality control standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Solar PV system design / engineering.
