POSITION OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will be a Senior Technical Lead within the TISC (Technical, Innovation & Supply Chain) architecture team supporting the CPS (Commercial Product Supply) and NAOU (North America Operating Unit) organizations through ensuring all technology delivered meets standards to drive supply chain transformation initiatives. Job Description

Purchasing

• Check and process Purchase Order (PO) based on sales order.

• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods, receiving, and invoicing.

• Checking supplier’s invoices with supporting documents such as PO & Delivery Orders (DO).

Job Description

• Freight operations support (90% air freight, 9% trucking, 1% ocean freight)
• Work with 3PL warehouse, freight providers and/or relevant stakeholders to resolve shipment issues
  • Eg: documentation, cargo damage, discrepancies, etc
• Respond promptly to stakeholders for shipment queries, issues, etc
• Service recovery
  • Containment of escalations and conflict resolution
  • Investigation
• Manage performance of 3PL transportation team and freight providers
  • Ensure agreed service standards and KPIs met
• Enhancement requests (operations and systems)

Job Requirements

• Min 3 years work experience in similar capacity
• Air freight operations support experience
• Able to support on weekends during peak periods for urgent shipments
  • Remote support is possible
• Able to respond professionally in emails, meetings, calls, etc
• Knowledge of customs permit and FTZ requirements
• Working experience in a logistics firm handling air freight or managing semi-con customer accounts
• Knowledge of SAP system
• Able to start work within short notice
• Comfortable to attend meetings with 3PL warehouse, freight providers and global stakeholders
• Willing to travel to ALPS if needed for warehouse visit and on quarter end days
• Independent, responsible, resourceful and fast learner with a sense of urgency

Other Information

• Working hours: 8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri
• Working location: Changi Business Park, with partial work from home option
• Contract Duration: 1 Year, potential contract conversion to permanent.
• Completion Bonus.
