• Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency

Customer Service Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of 2 customer service representatives to deliver exceptional service and support to clients across the APAC region
• Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLA’s) to meet customer expectations for order fulfillment, delivery and post-sales support
• Address escalated customer inquiries or issues promptly and effectively, striving to achieve swift resolution and customer satisfaction
• Implement/adopt tools and processes to enhance customer service operations, including CRM systems, knowledge bases and training programs

Logistics and Distribution:

• Manage transportation, warehousing and distribution activities to optimize freight costs, transit times and order accuracy
• Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers
• Implement best practices for packaging, labeling and handling of goods to minimize damages and losses during transit

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Management:

• Develop and oversee RMA procedures and processes to facilitate the return, repair or replacement of defective products
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Technical Support/Product Management teams to analyze root causes of product returns and implement corrective actions
• Monitor RMA trends and metrics to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Team Leadership and Development:

• Provide leadership, guidance and support to the supply chain and customer service team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members
• Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development to enhance team capabilities and effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field. Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, customer service or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
• Proven track record of driving process improvements, cost savings and customer satisfaction in a multi-national environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP) and other relevant software applications

Facility Description: It has 2 softball fields and 1 batting cage, and is the National Training Centre for the Baseball and Softball national teams.

Introduction:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Softball Field Facility Operator to maintain and ensure the optimal condition of our softball field. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and landscaping, possess excellent attention to detail, and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the appearance of the Jurong field.
• Ensure SBSA’s hired services such as Field Maintenance, Cleaning Services and Pest Control services maintain the facility conditions as per schedule, and attend to grounds maintenance contractors working on site.
• Mark and maintain the boundaries, base paths, and pitching mounds according to regulations.
• Prepare the ground for events, tournaments and practices.
• Collaborate with coaches, players, and other staff members to address specific field maintenance needs.
• Maintain the register of all the grounds equipment.
• Schedule testing and maintenance of all the grounds maintenance equipment in accordance with the guidelines.
• Advise the repair or replacement of faulty equipment and fences. / Inspect, repair and maintain equipment such as pitching machines, bases, and fences.
• Monitor and control pests and weeds on the field
• Water the field as needed, taking into account weather conditions and usage schedules.
• Ensure health and safety requirements including auditing equipment and outdoor spaces, risk assessments and method statements for work to be undertaken.
• Keep records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment usage.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the office and sheds at all times.
• Carry out other relevant duties as required by SBSA.

Working Hours:

• 6-day work week (depending on the field booking schedule)
• Working Days: Between Monday to Sunday
• Weekdays: Up to 8 hours
• Weekends: Up to 6 hours

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping, preferably in a sports field environment.
• Knowledge of turf management practices, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping equipment.
• Ability to operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in turf management or related field
• Experience working with athletic fields or facilities.
• Familiarity with regulations and standards for softball field maintenance.
