Job Requirements

• Valid Class 4/5 Driving license can apply

Responsibilities:

1. lifting and moving materials around a construction site as safely and efficiently as possible.
2. Conducting machine safety checks each day.
3. Work in compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
4. Prepare and update daily log of material transportation which includes the position of materials and type of materials.
5. Present the day to day report to the Site Supervisor and Project Engineer.
6. Employ levers, pedals, and buttons efficiently.
7. Ensure all loads are in accordance with crane limits.
8. Assemble and set up crane towers at the Construction sites.
9. Maintain heavy lifting cables on a uniform basis.
10. Stay updated about your knowledge of crane functions and its operations.
11. Operate Tower crane as per the deployment schedule assigned by the Managers/Supervisors ;
12. To carry out daily checks of the assigned vehicle to ensure safe lifting operations at all time ;
13. Maintain assigned crane in clean and tidy working condition ;
14. Perform risk assessment of surroundings and goods to be lifted so as to ensure that the lifting operations can be carried out safely

Requirements:

• minimum 2 years’ working experience in operating Crane at a Construction site or equivalent crane operator certification.
• A valid crane operator license is also mandatory.Qualified crane operator with BCA and MOM recognised.
• Able to work Overtime or 2 rotating shifts (if required).

Responsibilities:

• Visualize and assess the fulfillment status of materials in factories.
• Evaluate the need for advance or risk purchases of materials with long lead times and present proposals to management for approval.
• Collaborate with Procurement to update Purchase Information Records (PIR) in the system, facilitating the release of Purchase Orders (PO) from the system.
• Develop and implement plans for procuring raw materials from global suppliers.
• Examine PO shipping terms and storage locations.
• Generate POs for approved advance or risk buys.
• Maintain strong relationships and communication with manufacturing and key suppliers, confirming production/shipping schedules and monitoring open purchase orders for timely deliveries.
• Review supplier schedules and manage POs to be superseded by Contract Manufacturers (CM) or stored on-site, requiring communication with suppliers and factory purchasers.
• Coordinate and monitor shipments from the premises to CM.
• Evaluate factory orders/forecast demand, track open POs and inventory, ensuring depletion by the factory.
• Effectively manage holding stock in factories to maintain lean inventory levels.
• Analyze and report on inventory projections.

• Establish and cultivate positive relationships with CM, acting as a functional bridge between CM and internal stakeholders.
• Address and escalate CM issues related to materials status to the respective stakeholders.

SUMMARY

The SCM Project Manager will drive ongoing enhancements and increased efficiency in Supply Chain which includes business systems, process development, and change management within the supply chain organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Work with project core team members to develop new processes or enhance exiting processes to increase the efficiency of Jabil’s supply chain process and allow Jabil to stay in front of our competition from a supply chain management standpoint.

· Forge successful relationships with the stakeholders to produce informed, effective, and efficient solutions with optimal user acceptance.

· Document, test and deploy new supply chain processes.

· Establish and deliver effective process and training plans.

· Establish metrics for evaluating successful process implementation.

· Coordinate with users to address their concerns to ensure successful deployment.

· Develop and implement an effective dashboard or metric pack for executive review at appropriate aggregation level using the most appropriate tool.

· Facilitates communication as appropriate to all stakeholders including escalating issues to next level of management level.

· Track, drive and communicate all changes and enhancements.

· Demonstrate a return on investment for all enhancements made to Jabil’s supply chain tools or processes.

· Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

· Comply, follow, and enforce all procedures within the company security policy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business) with three to five years business experience as a business analyst or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Advanced PC skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of Jabil’s SCM software. Ability to define software requirements and create procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information or training material and respond to questions from relatively large groups of people.

REASONING ABILITY

Strong problem solving, analytic, negotiation, project management and people skills are a must. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, summarize information and draw valid conclusions. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
