We are seeking a knowledgeable Application support and QA engineer to monitor and maintain the

efficiency of our software applications. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in full-stack

web-technologies preferably React and Node JS.

Job Description

• Coordinate with the design and development teams to resolve complex application and system

issues.

• Troubleshoot and rectify application issues.

• Provide progress updates to the Managers.

• Perform root cause analysis to identify the reasons for the underlying issue.

• Plan and execute strategies and configuration changes to ensure optimal quality assurance for

all applications

• Monitor all alerts related to applications and provide proactive services.

• Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized

functionality.

• Debug any server issues that impact application performance.

• Develop use-cases and test scenarios, perform functional, security, performance and automated

software testing on web and mobile applications.

• Prepare and maintain documentation for all issues and the implemented solutions

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in QA and support

• Experience with full-stack web-technologies like React JS, Node JS etc.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Process

1. Application Support: Provide first and second level technical support to end-users of the projects’ applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.

2. Incident management: Monitor and manage the application support queue, ensuring that issues are logged, triaged, and resolved within the defined SLAs.

Job Description:

• Responsible for providing after-sales technical support for the company's CDN products, answering customer inquiries through phone, email, and online chat; promptly responding to and resolving technical issues encountered by customers during use, providing professional solutions.
• Collaborating with the technical team to follow up and resolve complex technical problems, collecting and organizing customer feedback, and providing improvement suggestions to the product and development teams.
• Maintaining good customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Familiarity with CDN technology principles; relevant work experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills and service awareness, able to patiently listen to and resolve customer issues; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working under pressure.
• Team player with a spirit of collaboration; able to adapt to shift work schedules.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin required for communication with clients.

Shift Working Hours:

• AM Shift: 7.30am to 3.30pm
• PM Shift: 3.15pm to 11.30pm

1.Provide First Call Resolution (FCR) technical support via phone and email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely manner.

2.Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to 2nd level resolver groups as per work instructions.

3.Furnish and submit timely updates to customers on the status of outstanding issues within targeted Service Level

4.Maintain ownership of cases and follow-up on reported issues until closure and gather accurate and complete relevant information is recorded.

5.Manage customer expectations and notify Team Lead in the event of unusual surge in calls of a specific nature.

6.Handle initial classification/ prioritization of the incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow-up actions and incident status.

7.Ensure Email Backlogs are cleared before the following day start of business.

Responsibilities:

• Providing IT technical support and managing of office network/system. 
• Monitoring and managing of system security. 
• Overseeing tech refresh of office IT systems. 
• Responsible for patches and updating of IT framework. 
• Monitoring and managing of IT inventory hardware and software licenses. 
• Participation and supporting IT upgrading projects. 
• Analyzing, monitoring and providing reports on IT infrastructure.

Requirements: 

• Preferably 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in the IT industry 
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related qualification 
• Familiar with different operating systems including Windows and Mac environment 
• Knowledge in Privileged Account Security solution will be an added advantage 

Experience supporting applications in a Linux environment
