What’s the Role?

As a IT Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s digital transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing technology solutions to drive efficiency and productivity. This role requires a versatile individual with a strong understanding of IT systems, coding skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies. You will take ownership of projects and see them through to successful delivery, ensuring that business requirements are met and stakeholders are satisfied.

You also be responsible for the followings:

• Business Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Technology Solutions: Design, develop, and implement technology solutions to address business needs. This may involve coding, scripting, or configuring existing systems to meet requirements. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to propose innovative solutions.
• Project Management: Take ownership of projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business users, to ensure successful project execution.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing effective solutions. Communicate project updates, risks, and issues in a clear and concise manner.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Drive efficiency gains through the use of technology and streamlined workflows.
• Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and process flows. Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on new systems and processes.

What You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Senior / Lead Actuarial Analyst

1. Work with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders (consultants, industry workgroups, government ministries/agencies etc) on actuarial and insurance-related tasks and projects.

2. Setup and perform ongoing enhancement of the actuarial processes and workflow (covering modelling, valuation, experience studies, key risk monitoring, pricing analysis etc) to manage the CPFB insurance schemes.

3. Operationalise regulatory framework and industry best practices for CPFB insurance schemes.

4. Conduct research on actuarial approaches relevant for CPFB insurance schemes.

5. Leverage on data analytics to conduct actuarial analyses to support the Board’s initiatives to benefit CPF members.

What we are looking for:

1. At least 3 to 6 years of actuarial experience with robust technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

2. Good knowledge of actuarial principles, methods, and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively in a business context.

3. Proficiency in FIS insurance risk suite (Prophet) and expertise in data analytics/statistical programming (e.g., Python and Power BI) is advantageous.

4. Good understanding of the current regulatory framework and industry practices.

5. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

6. A strong passion for delivering high-quality work and devising solutions for challenging industry issues.

7. Good progress in professional actuarial qualifications is preferred.

The chosen candidate will be a Group Finance Platform - Business Analyst, part of Finance Platform project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing and evaluating business processes, systems, and requirements and work towards rebuilding it within the new module. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements, analyze data, and brainstorm + recommend solutions to enhance business functionalities and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project strategies and objectives.
3. Create, Groom and maintain Business Requirements / User stories, Data models and Data flow, Functional Specifications to effectively communicate business requirements to development teams.
4. Perform data analysis to extract valuable insights, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
5. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that solutions align with business requirements and are delivered within established timelines.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
 Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
 Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
