• Prepares quarterly GST report and GST related matters
• Prepare the weekly cash flow report
• Able to supervise junior staff to meet work quality and dateline
• Liaise with operations, customers, suppliers, auditor, tax agents & bankers
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• 3-5 years working commercial experience or 2-3 years audit experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and knowledge of ACCPAC would be preferred
• Meticulous and able to work independently to meet deadlines

Job Description

To assist in post-trade compliance, assist in the monitoring of the investment and transactional activities of fund managers to ensure compliance with regulatory and client-mandated investment guidelines.  You will also ensure that all client reporting are done accurately and on a timely basis. As our fund managers invest in a broad range of instruments, you should have some knowledge in various financial securities products.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintenance of accurate compliance rules across all fund types, in accordance with Investment guidelines or compliance parameters provided by client / fund manager.
• Ensure accurate and correct interpretation of guidelines and the creation of relevant rules in the compliance monitoring system.
• Ensure that alerts and / or breaches are monitored daily and follow-up action taken and documented. 
• Updating of Operating Procedures Manual and Operating Memorandums with clients.
• By adhering to guidelines and checklists, ensure that standard procedures and controls, as set out in the Operating Procedures Manual, are being adhered to. 
• Responsible for ensuring that all the daily / non-daily reporting to clients are met as per requirements.  
• Attend to client queries.
• Assist Funds Compliance Monitoring Manager in the smooth running of the compliance monitoring function of the department, including adherence to corporate and regulatory policies and requirements.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives. 
• Assist in training and development of new or inexperienced staff.
• Assist in user acceptance testing. 
• Working with internal/external parties (for example clients, fund managers, vendors, fund accountants, auditors etc)

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Banking / Finance or Accountancy
• 2 - 4 years experience in the financial industry (fund management / insurance business will be preferred) with relevant experience in post-trade compliance platforms, creating and maintaining rules for purposes of portfolio compliance. Knowledge of the various component feeds to the system (fund accounting data base, third party vendor feeds) will be an added advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of investment guidelines, securities ratings and industry classification, benchmark indexes, etc. 
• Demonstrating a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to write macros and rule logic, knowledge of SQL and data mapping will be a plus.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Excel & macros. Preferably with working knowledge of SQL and data mapping.
• Able to interpret legal clauses and paraphrase into simple and clear requirements.
• Service-oriented and client focused. A team player with strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing to work on Singapore public holidays.

Position Summary :

In anticipation of future bids and projects in Defence and Public Security sectors, Engineering Department requires system engineers who has a track record of building, deploying and maintaining the IT infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Domain knowledge in enterprise data networks and/or cybersecurity is desirable.

The System Engineer is to assist with IT infrastructure solutions according to project requirements and drive transformation for internal/external customers by adopting established platforms. He/She will be involved with the requirements gathering, preparation of proposals, and conduct of presentations to customers or system owners. Upon confirmation of projects, he/she is expected to take on an active role in the definition, procurement, deployment and operations of the necessary IT infrastructure covering but not limited to server hardware, virtualisation middleware, operating system and backup solution etc. Where necessary, he/she may be tasked to support data networking initiatives, cybersecurity implementations and other COTS deployment depending on his/her technical background and interests.

Main Tasks  & Responsibilities :

• Assist project or team leads in evaluating and recommending the appropriate IT infrastructure products (commercial or open source) that will meet project or customer requirements
• Take charge or support the deployment of said products, including integration and testing activities at the System-as-a-whole level
• Work with engineers from other disciplines (e.g. software, cybersecurity, integration) in the delivery of turn-key systems or proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives
• Monitor the health of infrastructure services and perform availability management for servers and its services, and assist in the resolution of operational issues
• Create & maintain technical documentation on Operations / Audit Best Practices, troubleshooting & related solutions knowledge base
• Manage the system recovery process (backup/restore of Infrastructure services and critical production server data and image) and assist in preparing incident reports in the event of outages
• Participate in failover or disaster recovery exercises of the IT infrastructure when required
• Deploy security fixes on Infrastructure services in accordance to enterprise vulnerability and patching strategy
• Support the administration of servers, VMware/Hyper-V platforms and domain controllers/LDAP servers
• Participate in the optimization of system performance and system capacity planning

Requirements :

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• At least five years of relevant IT experience in designing (not mandatory), deploying and managing IT infrastructure systems.

• Required knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2k16/2k19, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, and Azure Cloud
• Knowledge of infrastructure best practices, system technologies, operation processes and system engineering methodologies
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies will be desirable
• Technical certification in cloud and system technologies, such as CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VCP (VMware), VMCE (Veeam), CEH etc. will be advantageous
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Motivated team player with a keen eye for details, but able to work independently as well when required
• Candidate should also be willing to explore new technical domains in order to have a holistic technical view of the digital transformation landscape
