Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a System Architect. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in the design,

implementation, and management of systems. A strong background in systems, software, and networking is essential, along with proven expertise in preparing and managing tender processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead collaborative discussion between various teams to determine system requirements and transform them into technical specifications.

• Consult with customers and their representatives in order to appropriately influence system architecture and design.

• Ensure that the proposed architecture and design will meet the customer's requirements.

• Ensure proposed software design meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.

• Work with fellow team mates to develop user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Create and maintain detailed documentations such as Software Requirements Traceability Matrix, Software Requirements Specifications, Software Design Document, Interface Design Document etc for system architecture and design workflows.

• Preparation and submission of tenders for new projects, including requirement analysis, solution design and cost estimation.

• Efficiently handle tender-related queries and offer technical support throughout the tender evaluation and negotiation phases.

• Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in System Architecture and Design.

Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, software development and network infrastructure.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex technical issues.

Excellent Oral, Communication & liaison skills.

Good knowledge of UML and other modelling methods.

Experience on Software Architecture such as Micro-Services, N-Tier Architecture.

Experience using team collaboration tools(e.g., JIRA) will be added advantage.

Relevant certifications in System Architecture and Design will be beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems (Windows/Linux/VMWare)
• Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot the following software/hardware - Active Directory, Exchange Server & Exchange Online, VMware ESXi, SAN Storage & Backup
• Perform routine system administration duties
• Monitor servers and troubleshoot issues
• Provide additional support when necessary (eg. backup and storage functions)
• Perform proper documents for all processes
• Recommend solutions and ensure all IT issues have been corrected, and maintain records of work performed
• Provide technical support across the company, including Singapore, regional offices, and retail stores
• Provide technical support to server and network infrastructure and perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
• Troubleshoot system failures or bugs, and provide solutions to restore functionality
• Assist with any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field
• Experience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting systems
• Able to communicate effectively in both oral and written aspects
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Possesses analytical skills and works well in a fast-paced environment

• To report & assist Deputy/Department Head in meeting financial targets, SLA and KPIs in accordance to maintenance contractual agreement.
• Able to operate and thrive in a dynamic work environment where you are required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including vendors/OEMs.
• Operational management of team size of 10 to 15 engineers
• 24/7 standby for urgent operations requirement
• Ability to effectively conduct ops meeting with customers using digitilisation/BI tools.
• Active participation in project tenders

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar engineering-related capacity
• Positive work ethics, mature and team player
• Experience in tender participation will be added advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work effectively in an outdoor environment
• Experience in BI Tools such as Tableau, Power BI will be added advantage.
• Experience in System-Level Maintenance in the following disciplines is highly preferred (Radio Communications, basic Networking skills, UPS). Other Engineering-related experience maybe considered.
• Experience and/or certifications in either CCNA, will be added advantage
