• Perform maintenance, repair or overhaul of Air compressor efficiently and complete them in a timely manner.
• Guide and lead the team of technicians who lack experience or knowledge in troubleshooting, diagnostics and best practices in the said operation.
• Write and submit Service Reports timely in clear and logical manner.
• Communicate with Service Manager, Sales Department and Customers on job related issues, recommendations, unforeseen problems and to identify potential risks to the team and/or the equipment or job.
• Ensure safety observances on site both for self and team and highlight safety risks to Manager.
• Accountable for the upkeep of equipment and tools used as well as proper housekeeping of your work surroundings.

Job Qualifications:

• High competency in the operations, maintenance and repair of major Air Compressor brands (Oil lubricated screw and Oil Free) such as Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Kobelco etc.
• Familiar with the operations, maintenance and repair of Air treatment equipment like Air Dryer and Filter.
• Knowledge of Vacuum pumps, blowers or other rotating equipment such as pumps is a plus.

Requirements:

• To operate and maintain plant facilities and utilities.
• Responsible for continuously supplying purified water, chilled water, PUB water, steam, compressed air, etc.
• Responsible for continuous treatment of process wastewater and ensuring compliance with the discharge of treated water to the public sewage system.
• Responsible for continuously operating building services, including HVAC, ACMV, electricity, etc.
• Responsible for facilities & utilities equipment front-end troubleshooting.
• Responsible for carrying out or coordinating with vendors on asset repairs, maintenance, calibration, or project works.
• Execute assigned work activities on time.
• Responsible for safe operation and good housekeeping in facilities and utility areas.
• Manage external contractors/vendors in support of operation and maintenance activities.
• Assist supervisor in preparing equipment for maintenance, performing equipment isolation, LOTO, and supporting permit-to-work issuance.
• To provide input or be involved in drafting GMP documents eg. SOPs, forms, etc.
• Provide support to improvement projects, audits, EHS & Quality investigations, and CAPA.
• To be involved in internal and external inspections as required.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, ISO and EHS standards, and other relevant policies/standards, and support audit functions.
• Ensure workplace safety and be responsible for notifying management promptly of EHS/GMP deficiencies.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Possess a Minimum of NITEC in a technical field of study.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the electronics, cosmetic, food, medical, or pharmaceutical industry handling facilities or utilities.
• Boiler Attendant Class 2 certification is a MUST.
• Competence in purified water, chilled water, steam, compressed air, wastewater treatment, cleanroom HVAC operations, and maintenance.
• Self-motivated, good teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to execute work as per work instructions or procedures.
• Experience working in an EHS environment and a permit-to-work system.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Water sampling pertaining to environmental testing based on scheduled and ad-hoc tasks assigned, in accordance to in-house SOP and established sampling techniques.
• Ensure proper documentation and records updating at the end of each working day
• Ensure safety and adhere to all Safe Work Procedures
• Must be contactable at all times when placed on standby duty

Skills & Experience

• ITE / Diploma in any discipline from any field.
• Entry Level are welcome as training will be provided.
• Able to write & communicate in English
• Must be physically fit, self-driven, team player with initiative, willingness to learn and good communication skills
• Able to work on rest day depending on job requirement
• Having Class 3 Driving Licence is essential
