8. Handle all Admin matter for the Office.

1. Diploma or Professional Certificate in IT / NetWorking/Engineering or equivalent.·

2. Min 3 years experience in similar experience.

4. Knowledge of Office management.·

Seeking Singaporean to join as Senior System Engineer (1 year project renewable)

DEGREE + Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).

Work hours: Monday to Thursday : 8.5hr. Staggered between 7.00am – 7.00pm, Friday : 8hr. Staggered between 7.00am – 7.00pm + Saturday – Once a month. Weekday hour will be shortened in such case.

Overview:

An Infrastructure Senior System Engineer is a professional responsible for managing and maintaining the Windows-based infrastructure and associated technologies within an organization. Their primary role is to ensure the stability, security, and performance of Windows-based systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure solutions and systems
• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Windows servers and systems.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other related services.
• Configure and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Configure and maintain cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, serverless functions, networking, storage, and security.
• Install, configure, and manage Windows servers and services at datacentres.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support enterprise-wide solutions.
• Perform routine system and application updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide level 2 and level 3 support for Windows-related issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, network connectivity, and application deployments.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Preferably 6 years of working experience in a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions/operations
• Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and systems management solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, MCSE, MCSA, or equivalent are a plus

System administrator

The role

As our System Administrator, you become an integral part of our mission to inspire and nurture the next generation of global citizens. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our technological infrastructure while providing invaluable support to our students and staff.

Your responsibilities

Part of your duties involves overseeing and upkeeping our hardware, software, cloud, and network infrastructure to guarantee the seamless functioning of our systems and software applications. Providing technical support to end-users, managing Google Workspace, Salesforce CRM, and assisting with various tasks within the school environment. Under your responsibilities fall:

• Providing technical support and guidance to our students and staff.
• Maintain appropriate levels of cybersecurity and network robustness.
• Collaborate closely with our Business Team to customize Google Workspace and Salesforce CRM, leveraging its potential to meet our business requirements.
• Plan and run scheduled backups to ensure business continuity.
• Manage and maintain legacy systems, migrating them to new hardware or cloud as appropriate.
• Hands-on assistance in managing the “Makerspace”, including organizing tools, materials, and equipment, and providing guidance and support to teachers and students.
• Provision, maintain and manage all of the hardware within the school, including digiboards and laptops.
• Coordinate and organize audio/visual and lighting equipment and resources for assemblies and musical events.

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of server infrastructure, firewalls, wifi management, cybersecurity, operating systems, and network protocols.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM administration is a must.
• Experience with Google workspace is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

We offer you:

An employment contract starting on as soon as possible until June 30, 2024, with the possibility of renewal.

Next to the monthly salary of SGD 4,500 based on a part time workweek, you will receive a monthly transport allowance and 20 holidays (based on a 4 day work week). We also offer a health insurance package as well as a bonus payment.
