Job Description:

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering, or its equivalent, with relevant experience of at least 7 years will also be considered.
• Experience in maintaining automated baggage handling systems or automated systems in material handling industries preferred.
• Experience in a control room environment preferred.

Position Summary

The Facility Technician will assist the M&E Facility Executive in coordinating operations and maintenance activities, including retrofitting works in the office and GMP facility, to ensure clean, safe, and functional environments. We are a Marine Communication Equipment and Service Provider based in Singapore, providing marine electronic equipment and marine communication integration solutions for offshore vessels arriving in Singapore or around the Asia region.

We are looking for a dedicated Service Engineer (Marine) to be responsible for repair and maintenance of ship Navigation, Communication, Satcom, VSAT/TVRO, PAGA/PABX and GMDSS system. Reporting to the Head of Marine Electronics, and working closely with our business partners, he/she will be involved in the installation and testing if navigation and communications equipment on shipping vessels.

Responsibilities

• Involve in project for installation of marine electronics equipment.
• Liaise/co-ordinate with shipyard for related project.
• Assist in the repair works in the workshop.
• Brief business partners on various navigational/communication system setup.
• Provide technical support for business partners.
• Prepare reports on equipment to business partners.

Roles & Responsibilities

· To support Automation Engineers in automation projects required computer network and security system.

· Responsible for computer network and cloud system integration

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT or POS Project Management role including significant experience in implementation of medium-sized projects within the enterprise.
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise technologies, infrastructure, and ability to multi-task.
• Experience in supervising and/or managing resources.
• POS related experience will be an added advantage.
• Retail and/or F&B related experience will be a definite plus
• ITIL certified will be a plus point.
