Job Description
The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for establishing new channel accounts and manage current channels and contact points. The role serves as the primary contact point to channel partners for all their requirements with a primary focus for sales via channel partners.
The Channel Sales Manager is expected to:
Ø Coordinate and build opportunities to share and provide updates to channel partners on technologies or solutions.
Ø Establish and maintain country/account plans to promote sales growth via channels
Ø Achieve assigned targets/quota for products, services, and software
Ø Lead annual plan to achieve local business growth and objectives.
Ø Develop productive and effective channel coverage
Requirements:
1. Education and Experience Required:
· Have the RIGHT ATTITUDE & APTITUDE
· Good language and communication skills
· 3 to 5 years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level
· Solid experience in selling to partners in a complex environment
2. Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Understand and maneuver within the IT security ecosystem.
· Able to position products to complement channel partner offerings.
· Able to effectively communicate sales offerings and overcome objections.
· Build strategic relationships with Channel Partner decision-makers
· Experience in the Cybersecurity industry would be beneficial.
· Partners effectively with others in the account to ensure coordinated efficient account management.
· Motivate Channel Partners and Channel driven salespersons.
· Value-add to Channel Partner’s Sales Ecosystem
· Understand sales pipeline management.
Remunerations and Benefits:
v Salary with Commission
v Commission based on Tiered Targets (On Target Earnings per annum would be in the six-figure range)
