Job Summary

The Contract Specialist will act as a key member of the Supply Chain (Procurement) team and will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts or subcontracts. This includes handling standard supplier contracts in the field of 3rd party personnel, equipment, MRO, etc., as well as managing subcontractor agreements. The Contract Specialist will ensure that contractual risks are identified, properly evaluated, and mitigated.

About the Role

• Draft, review and negotiate supplier contracts (including sub-contracts) in line with templates provided by Legal and Fugro policies.
• Act as a key member of the Supply Chain (Procurement) team, participate in commercial and legal discussions with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that contractual risks are identified, properly evaluated, and mitigated. Raise awareness of contractual risks with internal stakeholders.
• Incorporate contract-flow down clauses from the client contract into the subcontract, in alignment with the Legal team
• Ensure proper procurement contract management, comprising negotiating the terms and conditions of contracts. Procurement contracts also include certifying compliance with the terms and conditions and documenting and agreeing on any changes by both parties.
• Promote the principles of good procurement and contract management practice throughout the company
• Responsible for preparation/review of all relevant contractual correspondence exchanged during project execution to and from the suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Monitor all contract deliverables and the contract performance as well as identify risks and opportunities. Support handling of supplier claims.
• Assumes overall responsibility for all contractual and commercial issues related to the management of change, including ensuring claims are issued within the timeframes set out in the contract and receiving all required internal approvals preparing, interfacing with involved functions, and negotiating any claims against partners and subcontractors
• Works closely with internal stakeholders: Supply Chain (Procurement), Finance, Legal, Insurance, Fleet Services, project managers, operations managers and various business stakeholders.

About you

• Law degree preferred though Business degree with strong contract management experience will be acceptable
• 5-10 years’ experience with contracts
• Experience in Maritime/ EPC/ Engineering companies is preferred. Project procurement experience (with EPC companies and/or offshore projects) is a plus.

Job Summary

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

As a Cloud Specialist, Graduate you will assist the Service Operations team to ensure service delivery quality is maintained through direct assistance in implementing and improving working processes and procedures. You will be accountable for performing all Service Operations activities according to SITA standards and procedures maximizing customer satisfaction by the delivery of first class support activities.

Reporting to the Director, Service Operations you will be a part of the Service & Infrastructure Operations team responsible for providing Service & Infrastructure Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Carry out proactive fault monitoring and incident management support to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups.
• Ensure shortest restoral times possible, initiating the timely escalations to specialized resolver groups inside and outside SITA, according to the customer contracts, SLAs and monitoring requirements.
• Proactively detect problems related to service and infrastructure operations and delivery services, conduct diagnostics and provide service request ownership to ensure resolution of customer problems.
• Report and escalate all observed problems to proper SITA operational escalation points.
• Carry out preventive and proactive maintenance of equipment and monitoring of systems and services in accordance with agreed schedules and customer expectations.

EXPERIENCE:

• University Degree in Computer Engineering/Systems Engineering/Information Systems;
• Basic knowledge in Operating Systems - Linux / Windows;
• Keen interest in IT Infrastructure systems including server management (HP/Dell Servers), Operating System administration;
• Keen interest in Cloud technologies including Public (Azure/AWS) Cloud and Private Cloud (VMware);
• Good communication skills, fluent in English
• Must be a team player
• Must obtain your degree by 2024
• No more than 12 months relevant post graduate experience, excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Participate in structured rotations allowing you great exposure to different teams and technologies.
• Get assigned to a Buddy and a Mentor that will guide you throughout your Graduate experience.
• 18-month contractual assignment with a high possibility of conversion.
• Shift based work assignment (7.45am- 4.35pm/ 12noon- 8.45pm), alternate weeks
• Each month you are also expected to work on 1xSat and 1xSun (not every weekend). For each Sat or Sun that you are working, you will be compensated with an Off day on either Monday or Friday
• Monthly shift allowance will also be provided on top of your basic salary and a end of contract bonus.
• Free shuttle bus provided from Tampines MRT.

This role is ideal for candidates with senior level experience in Japanese SEO content marketing, who are passionate about blogging and content creation.

• Produce SEO optimised content for our JP blog, to help fuel adoption of Wise 
• Revisit, optimise and improve older articles to boost their performance
• Conduct keyword research to plan content that drives organic traffic to our blog and attracts new customers
• Understand the wants, needs and pain points of our potential new customers
• Edit copy - you’re not afraid to fix copy or make direct changes when necessary
• Find, coordinate and manage a bunch of talented freelance writers
• Own your content - from ideas to briefing, proofreading, editing and finally publishing articles: you will own every stage of the process
• You can put yourself in freelancers / businesses’ shoes, and create content plans that attract these potential business customers
• Analyse the performance of JP blog, write up an analysis, and use these findings to bring more growth
• Know and proactively monitor the competitor landscape in your locale
• Can size up and prioritise content projects/initiatives based on high growth impact/potential 
• Can articulate and write-up the problem you're trying to solve, your hypothesis for how to fix it

About you

• You speak and write Japanese on a native level 
• You speak and write English on a native level, as our team communication language is English 
• You have 2-3 years of SEO experience in Japanese and have brought a great impact in terms of number of new customers and revenue through your content (beyond just traffic)
• It’s preferred if you have worked on B2B content and successfully brought a great amount of business customers through your SEO content
• You are analytical and able to use different SEO tools (GA, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMRush and Looker (bonus)) and explain your analysis / findings to other people in an easy-to-understand way 
• You’re strategic and are used to building hypotheses based on data to bring new growth
• You know your way around words. From small copy changes to fixing blog articles in bulk, you’ll get it done.
• If you have worked for financial companies, that’s a plus
• You thrive more on autonomy than structure. You’re not afraid to take responsibility and ownership of your work

Your Mission:

Wise has already pioneered new ways for people to transfer money across borders and currencies. Our customers can also manage their hard-earned money with the world’s first platform to offer true multi-currency banking. 

In this role, you'll add to that mission by:

• Maintaining consistent and high-level execution of daily tasks related to payment processing;
• Supporting your team by reaching your role set SLAs and KPIs which in turn contribute to the team by meeting team's main performance metrics and SLAs;
• Detecting and escalating domain-related problems and complex issues to Regional Payment Operations teams, ensuring timely and relevant communication with stakeholders;
• Following operational procedures and keeping track of critical updates.
