Primary Objectives of Position

• Prepare full set monthly management accounts and related schedules timely
• Prepare year-end statutory report, tax computation, GST reporting, government surveys, and reporting.
• Payment and billing processing
• Administration of contracts database and project cost tracking
• Cash flow management
• Participate in the preparation of budget and forecast
• Liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretary, and bankers
• Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Processes, and Procedures
• System and processes – Assist in processes and system implementation when required; continue to streamline and automate tasks to ensure improvement and efficiencies
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant discipline or ACCA
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, corporate tax, and GST rules
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
• Self-motivated, resourceful, hands-on, and meticulous

Financial/ Management Reporting

• Responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements and a full set of accounts.
• Prepare quarterly/half-yearly financial reports.
• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Prepare monthly analysis and review the financials of the listed entity and its overseas subsidiaries
• Formulate, review, and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in all finance-related matters. This includes maintaining finance records, reconciliation, and managing the administration of finance processes.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects and other job duties which may be assigned from time to time.
• Financial management and review of Sales, Inventory and Service activities and costs
• Preparing financial management reports, including monthly and annual financial planning and forecasting, advising on tax
• Co-ordinate the work through the process between management, bank relationship manager, and external auditor
• Ensure compliance with company policies and the relevant accounting standards
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documents in accordance with accounting principles and IFRS

Treasury

• Prepare monthly cash flows forecast- Liquidity reporting
• Monitor cash flows and bank balance position
• Monitor internal/external loan and interest repayment in accordance to the agreed repayment schedule
• Monitor hedging, monthly intercompany netting and confirmation

Tax/ GST reporting

• Preparation of submission of GST returns
• Tax preparation and reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or ACCA Level 2 or degree holder.
• Minimum with 3-5 years including accounting and operations experiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Application especially in Ms-Excel & Ms-Word.
• Meticulous, organized and ability to handle multi-task in a dynamic/fast-paced environment.
• A resourceful team player with strong analytical, problem solving skills, ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to all levels.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
