The Tax Analyst will support the day-to-day tax work of the family office. Reporting to the Senior Tax Analyst based in Singapore, the successful candidate will work as part of the tax team which has a global coverage to deliver professional tax services including direct and indirect tax compliance and tax advisory support in respect of business activities of the group. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collate data required to prepare the relevant direct and indirect tax returns.

NTU Shared Services (NSS) is a centralized unit within Nanyang Technological University (NTU) that provides a wide range of administrative, operational, and support services to various departments and units within the university. You will be working in the Data & Analytics organization to solve a wide range of business problems leveraging advanced analytics. You will deploy a flexible analytical skill set to deliver insightful data and analysis and model business scenarios. Your principal goal will be to use data to drive better business decisions. This means translating data into meaningful insights and recommendations and, where relevant, proactively implement improvements. You will be developing the business reporting and analysis for our internal operations world-wide. The job will require working closely with the various Business Units to understand their business question as well as the whole data team to understand and access available data.

Position Duties

• Drive analytical problem-solving and deep dives. Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine problems, applying advanced quantitative methods.
• Collaborate with a wide variety of cross-functional partners to determine business needs, drive analytical projects from start to finish.
• Align with involved stakeholders to set up dashboards and reports to drive data driven decision across all departments
• Working very closely with our Data team, Tech and Product team to understand the business logic to generate accurate reports and correct analysis

• Able to commit for a period of at least 4 months
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Science, Engineering or relevant disciplines with a focus on data.
• Good knowledge in SQL, R and Python.
• Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Google DataStudio or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Consultant with expertise in Moody's and Liquidity Risk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial risk management, coupled with technical proficiency in DataStage, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Scripting. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their Moody's and liquidity risk requirements and implementing effective technical solutions using ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Moody's & Liquidity Risk Expertise:

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Moody's and liquidity risk concepts to understand client requirements and provide expert guidance.

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage to extract, transform, and load data related to Moody's and liquidity risk.
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation and reporting.

• Write and maintain Unix scripts to automate data processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability in data workflows.

• Work closely with clients to gather and understand their Moody's and liquidity risk requirements.
• Provide technical consultancy to clients, offering solutions that align with their business objectives.

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights related to Moody's and liquidity risk.

Purpose of the role

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying robust sales opportunities, profiling prospective customers, discovering their needs and driving new business through various outbound and inbound campaigns focused on security. 

You will help businesses work better together, move fast and innovate. As a member of the Sales Development team, you will be the first point of contact for hundreds of businesses, proactively engaging them to build enthusiasm while identifying and qualifying their security business needs to propose adequate solutions and send them on the most appropriate Sales path.

You will work towards individual targets, but will also be part of a larger sales team with a focus to grow our customer base across APAC. You will be in a phone-based environment, where you will interact with customers primarily via outbound calls.

Responsibilities

• Hit quarterly Key Performance Metrics, and hit a target level of activity daily and weekly
• Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts to identify high potential prospects, both new business and upsell
• Execute outbound prospecting to source, contact, and engage prospective customers
• Educate customers on what we have to offer
• Execute daily outbound phone calls and emails (mostly cold calling), contact C-level decision makers, build quick rapport and assess needs.
• Understand prospects' pain points, gather technical requirements, correlate business needs to available Cloud security solutions (solution-selling) and build value for next steps in the sales process
• Update and maintain prospect and customer data in Salesforce.com (CRM database). Manage leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities and activities in Salesforce.com
• Work towards team and individual goals for key performance indicators like productivity, conversion rates, opportunities and pipeline.
• Create quotes and close smaller value deals. 
• Act as a point of contact for partners and collaborate with Customer Engineers on events and demo support.

• BA/BS degree, technical degree desired
• Native level of English.
• Min. 2 years B2B Sales or Business development experience in outbound sales in the IT industry
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts, in particular Google Cloud Platform
• Ability to connect business needs with adequate solutions, strong business acumen
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player and a high level of integrity and professionalism
• Comfortable working against an assigned quota in a phone based environment
