Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Working with the development team, you will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing and delivery of the software solution for an Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system or a high volume and performance intensive back office of an AFC system.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

• Requirements gathering;

As member of our R&D team, the person will work on applications of AI & machine learning to solve large-scale business problems in retail and supply chain management, collaborating with both colleagues and partner organizations in Singapore and abroad.

Responsibilities:

● Work with other team members (both in Singapore and abroad) to understand our clients’ current pain points and how AI/machine learning can be applied to improve their bottom line. This can include discussions with people from a variety of backgrounds (marketing, logisctics, etc.).

Supervise ongoing projects and assist in design office i.e. resolve all technical issue

· Assist in all AC jobs/projects/contract

· Review all the design/checking of calculations for the company

· Represent the company, advise the same and act on its behalf to enable the company to perform its contractual obligations for the projects, as spelt out in the contract documents

· Act on behalf of the company to maintain reputation and goodwill with the clients

· Assist the Managing Director in subsequent tendering of projects and other contracts including but not limited to government projects, private projects, overseas projects

· Attend all site meetings with clients, contractors, QP Design and relevant authorities on matters related to the projects

· Attend meetings with Managing Director on regular basis with the view to report on matters related to the projects and assist in the resolution of issues which may affect the performance of the company in discharging its contractual obligations to the clients

· Promote the employer’s profile and capabilities in the procurement of projects and business development

· Be a management representative of the company for both site and office projects

· Review the design/checking of calculations

· Carry out planning, design drafting, cost estimate etc for the company’s project

· Prepare proposal and performance on tendering works for Consultancy

· Oversee authority’s submission and update of each project

· To cover duties for other Senior/ Design engineers

· Assist in technical design and drafting

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Criteria:

• Design Engineer (SDE) shall be an engineer in the civil/structural discipline with at least a degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• At least ten (10) years of relevant experience on Civil & Structural projects
• Able to problem solve and manage projects

• Ensure efficient Civil & Structural and Geotechnical design is achieved in accordance with Design Criteria and relevant standards
• Liaise with internal and external parties on all civil & structural and geotechnical design matters and advises the Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) / Senior Design Engineer (SDE) regularly
• Co-ordinate the review of Contractor's civil & structural and Geotechnical submission and assists the SRE/SDE in conveying a timely response to the contractor
• Identify and resolve potential design related issues during construction phase
• Carry out any other duties as required by the Authority's Project management team, including attending technical meetings and discussions, preparation of minutes of technical meetings and to provide technical meetings and technical support as required in the evaluations of Contractor's claifications.
• Ensure that the design intent is translated to construction on site by means of correct drawings and specifications

Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant design management/coordination experience on projects similar in nature to the Works in the civil contract including design experience in geotechnical works for deep excavation foundation works
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/ Senior Project Manager (SPM)/ Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
• Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on site quality and safety issues.
• Determine any non-conformances on works
• Liaise with Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
• Ensure that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable time frame.
• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme withoutcompromising on quality and safety quality and safety matters and suggest quality improvement measures for implementation on site
• Supervise installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor /client

Job Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in project/construction environment
• Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project workPro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills

Required to have at least 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover construction

Scope:

• Provide supervision services for all geotechnical works to ensure that contractors complies with contract/authorities'/agencies' requirements
• Oversee the geotechnical team and personnel
• Review all drawings and specifications and highlight any discrepancies, non-workable and/or missing details to OIC and the QP(D)s and QP(S)
• Review and comment on all construction method statements, risk assessmentsfor works, workplans, design for safety (DfS) workshop and SOP proposals
• Provide all relevant endorsements required by authorities/agencies/client
• Assist QPD for application of TOP and CSC
• Prepare site supervision plan and supervise all works directed by OIC
• Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and prepare necessary site progress and status report for update to client
• Adhere to regulations and requirements of all stakeholders for any supervision work while ensuring proper supervision
• Monitor contractors' safety performance and participate actively in site safety management
• Conduct roving safety inspections, emergency & incident response and facts finding
• Report any accident/incident/near miss on site

Requirements

• Accredited with Resident Engineer certification under Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore
• Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry Course (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent
• Registered as Workplace safety and health officer with MOM
• Minimum 10 years of experience , of which at least 8 years in major construction works in tunnels and deep excavation and foundation
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report
• Strong leadership skills
• Familiar with all procedures in the Workplace Safety & Health Manual

• Supervise the fabrication of the launching girder & Lifting frame.
• Supervise structural steelwork including, but not limited to, material inspection and testing, fabrication and erection
• Comply with all relevant laws and regulations of the countries

Requirements :

• Degree recognised by Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Minimum 4 years of experience in in concrete technology, inspection, quality control and quality assurance procedures related to the production of high quality precast concrete products.
• Accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore
