Sales Coordinator & Support – APAC – Maritime Technology industry
Executive Search - Our client is a Maritime / Shipping Technology company in Singapore: We are seeking a dedicated and results driven Sales Coordinator / Support to be responsible for supporting the APAC sales team to drive sales growth and revenue (Inside sales type of role). The ideal candidate will have experience with internal sales support from maritime industry, excellent communication skills and attentive to details.

Key Responsibilities:

· In cooperation with sales team, participate in developing and implementing sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.

· Support in Identifying sales leads and prioritizing key accounts and opportunities within the marine industry, fostering relationships for long-term partnerships.

· Help build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.

· Support the sales team in making sales presentations, proposals and research.

· Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective communication and coordination of sales activities.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

· Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.

· Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights for senior management.

· Ensuring that orders are correctly updated in the system, close dialog with our operation tams when handing over orders.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

· Work closely with the Inside sales team in HQ to ensure synchronization in marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

· University degree – could be bachelor’s or master’s degree.

· 2 to 10 years of sales Coordination, sales support, or Inside Sales experience

· Preferable from Maritime industry.

· Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is important) and CRM software.

· Organised and attentive to details.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Work Experience

• 8+ years of experience in project management
• Responsible to manage multiple projects and ensure time bound delivery and quality as expected by customer
• Build Project plans including work break down structure, scheduling, resourcing, product availability, remote installation, pre-requisites etc.
• Provide the point of contact for resolution of project related issues
• Conduct project kickoffs and regular project status meetings
• Act as the primary interface point into broader technical teams to ensure the full breadth and depth of the organization is leveraged for the customer’s success
• Provide overall project leadership and direct project teams in the delivery of high-quality products within committed timeframes and budgets
• Ensure complete understanding of the project estimates and project scope in order to lead the team to deliver within the boundaries of the given estimates and assumptions
• Communicate overall project status to the customer
• Baseline and track project plans
• Identify and mitigate risks and critical path items

Desired Profile

Technical -

• PMP or Prince 2 Certification or equivalent project management qualification
• Domain Knowledge – GSM/ CDMA Protocol level knowledge is a MUST
• Expert Project Management skills including: estimating, scope management, budgetmanagement, time management, risk management, change management, issue/conflict resolution, communication management, quality management, testing plans, training plans, team management
• Skills and knowledge acquired through participation in the delivery of data integration initiatives in each of the following areas: change management, release management, configuration management, systems integration, systems development life cycle methodologies, quality assurance and testing, requirements gathering, and systems analysis and design
• Experienced in handling solution, integration and testing related discussions
• Knowledge of various system interfaces and commissioning activities

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project site supervision, inspection, documentation, and coordination for architectural, interior fit-out works and landscape works for healthcare project

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Supervise and inspect all construction works, including architectural, interior, facade, and landscape works, including interfacing with building services.

· Inspect and monitor the quality of architectural materials delivered to the site.

· Check and ensure all materials, construction, and/or installations are in accordance to approved specifications, drawings, samples, and method statements. To highlight to the Client/Consultants any deviations or non-compliant works carried out by the Contractor.

· Check and ensure works are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance to statutory requirements.

· Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards and ensure quality and timeline objectives are met.

· Keep and maintain proper and updated daily records of site progress and all works done, including records of tests, inspections, the status of work, safety, site diary, material and equipment on site, labor, dayworks, provisional quantities, etc. for easy retrieval and reference.

· Attend all site, progress technical coordination, and BIM meetings.

· Provide daily updates and weekly reports on the status and progress of the Contractor’s work, including potential problems, defects, and non-compliance.

· Coordinate with the Contractor and Employer’s direct vendors for furniture/equipment in the execution of affected works to ensure no implication to work progress.

· Perform other related duties as required by the Client/Consultants.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Possess a Recognised Technician Diploma or ITC Certificate (Higher NITEC/NITEC) or relevant National Construction Certificate of Supervision (NCCS) in Architectural or its equivalent

· Must be accredited RTO by BCA/IES/ACES.

· Fully conversant with statutory regulations and requirements.

· Familiar with BCA CONQUAS, Quality Mark assessment and safety aspects for site supervision, quality control procedures, and BIM.

· Meticulous and detail-oriented in quality management and ensuring good workmanship.

· Responsible and proactive in resolving and managing site issues with good team spirit, communication & interpersonal skills.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant site experience in as a full-time RTO

· Experience in supervising architectural and interior design supervision of multi-storey buildings in Singapore with precast construction and possess good knowledge of architectural finishing works and relevant local construction codes and practices is an advantage.

· Previous site supervision experience in healthcare projects is an advantage.

Objectives of the position:

This role is for the Customer Quality Support for Company’s product distribution where Customer’s feedback & Product Quality requirements / issues are handled. The person will be responsible to handle Customers requirements such as complaints, test data & other technical information as requested. Customer complaints handling will also include the necessary communication with all the stake holders (Customer, Supplier, CS, PP, SVM, LOG). Knowledge in cable testing and specification requirements will be required to understand Customer complaints (technical & logistics).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Customer complaint processes such as acknowledgement of the complaint, updating into SAP, keeping track of the complaint, closure of the complaint & summarizing for monthly reporting. Proper handling of customers’ needs by providing accurate and timely information on enquiries related to cable standards, test reports and handling of customer complaints.

2. Track supplier quality by means of in-coming inspection when required or arise from Customer complaints. Update results in SAP system and release inspected lots according to the usage decision defined. To generate supplier CAR and track for corrective action by liaising with the supplier.

3. Familiar with and comply to international cable testing standards and procedures. Contribute to achieving company & department KPIs through due diligence, duty of care & personal accountability for Quality assurance in all tasks.

4. Liaising with relevant departments to effectively close the Customer complaints

5. Maintain records in SAP

6. Operate Laboratory test equipment when required

7. Assist Customer’s Technical enquiries e.g Product Test Report, RoHS, REACH, CE

8. Supplier claim processes and 8D report.

9. Prepare and issue Customer Test Certificates & COC

10. Assist in other day to day activities related to QA department as assigned by Superior.

Skills & Qualification:

▪ Min. Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical) or equivalent

▪ Min. 2 years’ experience in electrical / electronic product testing and qualification. Training will be provided.

▪ Knowledge in ISO 9001 : 2015 QMS standard.

▪ Must be able to operate lab equipment (calliper, visual scope, resistance checker, High voltage tester).

▪ Prior experience in SAP system is required for this role. Knowledge of cable product testing is an added advantage.
