You will be part of a team to provide facilities management services to our client's sites. You will be required to carry out regular inspections to the sites and its facilities to maintain a high service delivery level. You will supervise and manage contractors on the scheduled maintenance of various functions and systems within the sites.

· Coordinates construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications

· Interprets structural drawings for implementation in construction projects

· Reviews design and discusses modifications with consultants, providing engineering input and alternative methods to address construction challenges

· Raised RFI (Request for Information) on any discrepancies and ambiguities in the design drawings

· Works with construction team, including project managers, site engineers, architects and electrical and mechanical engineers to explain drawings, specifications and other technical information to answer their clarifications

Job Description:

• To facilitate information exchange, participate in the majority of product development teams and group, including travel extensively between Europe, Asia and sometimes Africa; and as the bridging gap between the countries based on the specific development works.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Applied Science from a recognized university.
• At least 3 years of work experience as an Engineer, with expertise covering all areas of a complex mechatronic system (mechanics, electronics, software, etc.).
• Experience in system design, knowledge of production process and best practices.
• Experienced with a suite of PLC tools and softwares like CODESYS 3.5, with experience in WAGO PFC200 would be advantageous.
• Experienced user of MatLab, Excel, python would be desirable.
• Experience with Autocad 2D, understanding of Single line diagrams and control schematics would also be advantageous.
• Desirable SCADA experience and communication protocols, like, MODBUS RTU / TCP is a plus.

Description:

• The Assistant Engineer shall be able to interpret construction drawings and check the submissions for compliance to the Board’s requirements.
• To review submissions from construction contractors/QP/PE for works affecting water pipes;
• To collate the list of sites for site surveillance;
• To prepare submission report to record the number of submissions reviewed;
• To monitor alerts sent from the Board’s monitoring system and follow up with the construction contractors who are working near to water pipes; and
• To conduct any other works in relation to the submissions as required by the Board

Qualification

• Possess a minimum of Diploma certificate in Engineering or equivalent (Civil Engineering)
• Must be Singaporean.

As a Project Engineer, your main responsibility is to supervise, execute and coordinate project activities together with a group of Engineers and Technicians leading to successful project completion. You will monitor and control project on schedule, within budgeted cost and quality standards. You will also work closely with consultant/owner to ensure project is delivered according to requirements. As an engineer, you are also required to perform system programming and troubleshooting during project implementation.

You should possess a Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electrical and/or Electronics or any Engineering related courses, with 2-3 years’ experience in site supervision and coordination with main contractors and subcontractors, must have hands-on experience in alarm, card access and CCTV system installation knowledge. Must be computer literate.
