24-month contract

The candidate is responsible for the end-to-end testing activities of an

integrated e-payment system. The primary responsibilities would include carrying out the activities in the testing lifecycle including testplanning, analyzing business and system requirements.

The candidate will also responsible:

• Preparing the test environment, designing and developing the test cases.
• Preparing the test environment, executing the test procedures.
• Automating the test solution based on the system design using scripting or programming languages as well as performance tuning.
• Create traceability to requirements, analyze gaps and address them.
• Logging and tracking defects to closure
• Conducting test reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis for production and user acceptance defects, address test gaps to ensure test efficiency.
• Develop design documents and user manuals which would effectively describe and provide clear instructions on the test automation solution to the end users who include testers and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in executing testing and developing test automation solutions involving devices (UI-based or embedded) and/or back-office systems with familiarity on the full system development lifecycle from requirement, development, to testing and deployment;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Able to work well both independently as well as in a team;
• Certification in software testing preferred;
• Experience in Micro-payments/Automatic Fare Collection systems using Smart Cards and in diverse test execution phases (System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance testing) would be an advantage;

Responsibilities:

• Analyse and resolve production/technical problems faced by concerned production staffs or processes
• Document and refine work procedures/instructions for good manufacturing processes so as to ensure consistent production quality and minimise waste.
• Provide technical supports to production functions
• Set up new model/process in assembly lines for new models/parts.
• Conduct improvement for process and production method/technology – to lead/assist production supervisors to troubleshoot production process problems.
• Provide technical training to respective production staff.
• Be in-house consultant for production technology and improvement
• Recommend improvement measures to immediate superior.

Job Description

• Mechanical design for process plant (Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, etc) including piping/valve/mechanical equipment calculation, specification & data sheet, piping/equipment layout,
• pipe/equipment support & platform, material take off, etc. Review the piping isometrics and as-built drawings.
• Provide mechanical input (such pipe loading, etc.) and coordinate with other disciplines (including the BIM modelling team) for the design, procurement, installation and T&C work.
• Technical review of equipment/piping/valve vendors’ proposal and submission during procurement, detailed design and installation stages, support the procurement and tender work, including the cost estimation.
• Prepare the mechanical submissions and resubmissions to project consultants and client according to project schedule and clear the submittal comments.
• Manage the equipment/piping/valve suppliers / subcontractors to meet the project schedule and quality requirements for design, installation and testing & commissioning.
• Support on the installation and testing and commissioning work, and other tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design (such as piping design, etc.) in process plant (water/wastewater treatment plant, incineration plant, etc.) with Degree in Mechanical Engineering. For Diploma holder, minimum 6 years of experience is required. For senior position, candidate must have at least 8 years of experience.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects.
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization.
• Must have advanced computer literacy in commonly usedsoftware applications such as Navisworks, Bentley View, AutoCAD and MS Office.
