The Computer Services System Engineer supports Computing Infrastructure support to Manufacturing sites. This role supports and maintains the data centers in the Singapore manufacturing sites with a scope of asset management and capacity planning, vendor management for mounting works and asset impairments. Apart from the L3 level hardware and OS support for MFG systems, this role also supports the Private cloud environment running on Hyper Converge Infrastructure. This role will require high proficiency in the hardware platforms for server and storage and domain knowledge to be able to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from the L2 support team. The Computer Services L3 will be expected collaborate closely with the site customers, site application teams and other Infra L3 teams in the resolution of issues and the fulfillment of service requests due to the higher complexity and the need to constantly communicate on technical details and implementation.
