Role Overview

• To assist in technical investigations in case of fault calls and regularly review the preventive and corrective maintenance activities for property in the aviation sector. He / She should be a competent problem solver on the ground, possessing strong technical knowledge in building and M&E maintenance and ability to liaise with service providers to ensure maintenance or repair works are carried out timely.

Role Responsibilities

Purpose

• Working Location: West – Gul Circle

Key Responsibilities

• In-charge of repair / service sales division
• Main Engine & aux engine repair, pumps, compressors, purifier and hydraulic at shipyard, working anchorage, OPL, follow voyage, PSA & Jurong port (ship owner, ship manager / Shipyard – DDW Pax ocean, ST Marine, Keppel / Industry – sewage treatment, Jurong & Kranji / Spares & equipment supplier / Engineer solution)
• Prepare & submit repair /service quotation to customer
• Get quotation from repairer
• Co-ordinate and arrange internal and external service team
• Co-ordinate between customer, agent & vessel for dispatching our teams to go onboard vessel to carry out repair/servicing job and or pre-work inspection
• Follow up with customer on status of our offer
• Co-ordinate with repairer & customer for any claims, dispute or complaint on work done or supply
• Prepare & submit inspection / service report to customer in accordance with ISO requirement & standard, filing of report is part of the job scope as per requirement
• Update & submit, sales report - quotation, enquiry against actual sale statistic report by weekly, monthly & yearly
• Co-ordinate between the sales team & production / service team for reconditioning work of stock item
• Coard vessel to meet Capt / Chief engineer for service & spares sales call & inspection in due course
• Carry out risk assessment for each service and observe safe work practice and regulations onboard vessels & in the workshop is part of the job responsibilities

Job scope
To supervise and support the functions of incoming waste segregation including bulk waste and loose waste as well as weighbridge.
To constantly monitor improve the department performance.
To conduct periodic review of existing workflows and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements and executing the improvement plans.
To supervise and ensure the effectiveness and smoothness of waste unloading, segregation and distribution.
Daily and regular inspection of the plant processes and monitor the working area 5S and TPM activities, safety and discipline at works, machineries and equipment conditions.
Ensure incoming waste streams being checked properly for suitable treatment processes and current safe work procedures are suitable for handling by operation staff.
As the core coordinator, lead and monitor the communication flow among internal departments on incoming waste discrepancy and revise related SOPs accordingly.
To evaluate and develop new treatment methods and handling procedures for new and unknown wastes, and review of operation costs and regular update to management.
To implement and supervise correct EHS practices within the department.
To work with resale for arrangement of recovered products to minimize the storage.
To prepare and analyse daily and monthly operation records/reports (e.g., cost, productivity, quality, nonconformance, etc) on plant processing and maintenance.
And follow up necessary corrective actions and monitor consistently to relevant department staffs to follow up closely.
Regular briefing / training to be conducted to department staffs for safety handling of high flammable solvent, MSDS, PPE requirement and risk assessment before operations.
To activate emergency response team of operation and maintenance staffs and response to any in house spill and fire incident if in case of emergency.
To liaise with EHS department to ensure fellow dept staff are upkeep with method of handling and emergency equipment usages in terms of spills and fire incident and to conduct regular practice and drill exercises with different scenarios to workers so that they are well familiar in emergency to response in time.
To ensure all fellow staffs are well trained according to OJT program and ensure they can follow up SOPs and work safely.
