Position Overview:
The Supplier Development Manager will oversee a multi-million dollar portfolio in the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining commodity, managing a number of strategic suppliers located across various regions. This role involves close collaboration with the latest High Numerical Aperture (NA) Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) system machine part sourcing and capacity expansion initiatives, serving as the primary escalation point for the sourcing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for annual price negotiations, leading resourcing activities, conducting supplier performance reviews, and ensuring a consistent supply to avoid disruptions in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Management:
- Manage a multi-million dollar portfolio in the CNC machining commodity.
- Oversee numbers of strategic suppliers in various locations.
2. Sourcing and Capacity Expansion:
- Collaborate closely with the latest High NA EUV system machine part sourcing.
- Drive capacity expansion initiatives to meet organizational needs.
- Serve as the main escalation path for the sourcing team.
3. Price Negotiation:
- Conduct annual price negotiations with strategic CNC machining suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
4. Resourcing Activities:
- Lead resourcing activities with site teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
5. Supplier Performance Review:
- Conduct annual supplier performance reviews with strategic suppliers to ensure they meet the company’s expectations in various aspects, including quality, delivery, and cost.
6. Supplier Rationalization:
- Lead supplier rationalization activities to optimize the supplier base and improve overall efficiency.
7. Assurance of Supply:
- Act as the main escalation point for supply chain issues.
- Ensure assurance of supply to avoid disruptions to manufacturing processes.
8. Contract Management:
- Oversee daily contract price management with contract manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier development, supply chain management, or procurement.
- Proven experience managing a significant portfolio in the CNC machining commodity.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with annual price negotiations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic Salary: SGD10,000 – SGD17,000 per month
