Purpose of the position:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Procurement:

• Frequently analyze the internal spend profile for all assigned categories, e.g. Forwarding, Warehousing, Shipping, Air, and Trucking services
• Monitor market development and build up market intelligence to understand and maintain the main cost drivers for assigned key categories
• Refine and develop new Category Strategies for assigned key categories under responsibility
• Responsible for development of SEAANZ Logistics & Packaging Procurement Plan
• Source, tender, evaluate, negotiate and conclude the (framework) contracts with most favorable commercial Terms & Conditions
• Maintain and update the framework contract list
• Ensure all contracts are executed according to agreed contract terms, solve deviations and handle disputes
• Ensure the process of vendor pre-qualification, selection and evaluation is in place
• Continuously consolidate and optimize the vendor pool and update the Approved Vendor List
• Management of external logistic partners and off-site logistic flows, including Dangerous Goods and non-Dangerous Goods transport and warehousing

Operational Procurement:

• Developing, tracking and reporting key performance indicators of the key logistics vendors, and analyze, initiate and implement the improvement actions with the vendors on frequent basis

• Creation of OA’s and issuance of PO’s in SAP system

Job Description: A Logistics Specialist (Rider) is responsible for efficiently transporting goods and packages from one location to another using motorcycle. • Launch and pilot any required action plan.
• Act as Customer Support Manager (CSM) focal point for customer interface and support Vietnam based customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure treatment of all customer’s orders and deliveries on time and on quality.
• Ensure customer reporting of order book.
• Regularly liaise with central organization stakeholders, such as Head of Segment and CLM referent by ensuring proficient communication.
• Monitor logistics KPI & performance (including financial performance) and the KPI performance at the individual customer level.
• Launch action plan regarding KPIs dashboard and problems/opportunities met.
• Share forecast & planning about customer’s logistics flow anticipation, fleet data collected and trend analysis.
• Provide recommendations to improve logistics service (internal / external).
• Ability to communicate and know the customer and their organization (e.g. Executive team, Engineering, Finance, Maintenance, Planning, Customer’s buying process / cycle including legal and commercial aspects, T&Cs, budget planning) as well as understand the customer’s market & environment.
• Establish credibility with customers to develop strong and lasting relationships with key customer executives / customer’s stakeholder based on mutual trust, respect, integrity and credibility.
• Building confidence and trust gaining the right to advise on customer strategy and increasing the customer’s loyalty.
• Building a network within the customers’ organization and positively influence the overall perception of the business.
• Identify, assess, respond (to mitigate / to increase impact and/or probability),
• monitor, follow-up and report regarding risks and opportunities in his/her area of duty.
• Identify and prioritize events that might negatively/ positively affect the programme/process/ function objectives and categorize them.
• Launch and actively follow up on replenishment orders from the day of order placement until the day of parts availability including AOG assistance, lead-time monitoring, discrepancy report and freeze code processing considering the commercial policies applicable (Repair, warranty, upgrade etc.) and material and logistics related contractual obligations and industry standards.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related disciplines from a recognized institution
• Minimum 3 years managerial experience in Customer Service environment, preferably in the aviation industry
• Ability to communicate, interact effectively at different working levels
• Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office like Excel is preferred
• Able to work independently in multi-task environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers on shipment and delivery enquires
• Providing prompt and professional attention to all their requests or problems
• Process all job orders into the system promptly and accurately
• Generate job instructions to relevant operations team accordingly to customer’s request correctly and on timely
• Liaise with different internal department & external contractor when required
• Pre-plan operations such as container trucking for Import and Export shipment depending on the complicatedness of the commodity and arrange special equipment such as cranes

Job Requirements

• Have passion in customer service, friendly and possess good attitude with previous service experience in logistics will be an advantage
• Diploma holder or its equivalent with 2 years of work experience

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure Customs Clearance of inbound shipments are executed in a Timely and Right First Time manner to foster customer satisfaction, and pro-actively communicate delivery related information and mitigation plans (where appropriate) to stakeholders.

· Ensure that Incoming shipments are received in SAP in a a Timely and Right First Time manner to foster customer satisfaction, and pro-actively communicate delivery related information and mitigation plans (where appropriate) to stakeholders.

· Ensure Service Provider (Customs Broker and Transport Service Providers) operate in Safe and Compliance (Quality and Business) fashion.

· Review, develop, monitor, and enforce the appropriate Service Level Agreement with Service Providers.

· Engage internal and external stakeholders to align operational imperatives and deliverables.

· Initiate and manage projects related to service, efficiency and / or savings improvements and drive all team members to engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives for their respective area of responsibility.

· Direct and coordinate with external warehouse regarding inbound shipments.

· Review escalation of issues from customers' or shippers' and reviews complaints regarding services related to inbound shipments.

· Valid professional certification relating to international and local Dangerous Goods regulations: IATA, IMDG preferred.

• Ensure that the vehicle is in good condition for delivery & collection of containers and loose cargoes on timely
• To adhere and to abide with all Singapore ports, shipyards and road safety rules and regulations
• Report vehicle issues & accident to Controller
• Follow job orders given by Controller
• Transport container and loose cargoes according to the assigned schedule

Requirements

• Primary or Secondary school education
• Able to understand basic English & Mandarin
• Minimum 2 years of working experience as Prime Mover Driver
• Possess Class 4 or 5 license
• Good driving record with no traffic violation record
• Some working experience in Container or Loose Cargo
• Able to start work immediately or short notice
• Able to work independently and/or as a team
