Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Customer Service Executive at Cogent Automotive Logistics. The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as processing shipping documentation, providing customer service to clients and ensuring smooth operations throughout the automotive logistics process.

1. Ensure fulfillment of customers’ order
2. Ensure deficiencies such as customers’ complaints are resolved on time and proper corrective and preventive actions are taken
3. Identify problems and deficiencies in the services/products provided by the company
4. Prepare invoice timely and accurately based on company policies
5. Prepare import/export documents
6. Raise reports on non-conforming services/events and recommend appropriate disposition actions for management approval before activating such actions
7. Identify safety hazards in operational areas and proactively eliminate any risks
8. Ensure staff work safely in a safe workplace
9. Integrate safety into daily work activities
10. Adhere to statutory / company’s safety and health policies, procedures and regulations
11. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Requirements

1. Diploma or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service/ shipping documentation role in a 3PL company.
3. Strong knowledge of automotive logistics operations, and customs clearance procedures in Singapore.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
5. Experience with TradeNet is a plus.
6. Required to work alternate Saturday half-days

Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Manager/Manager – Operations (Automotive Logistics) to manage operations in Cogent Automotive Logistics Pte Ltd. This position is suitable for someone with strong automotive logistics experience, a rich client base, and the readiness to lead the business unit to greater heights.

Responsibilities:

1. Report to the General Manager and assist in managing the automotive logistics business within the company.
2. Responsible for the P&L of the company.
3. Manage and improve the productivity and efficiency of the company.
4. Maintain strong customer relationships with existing and new clients.
5. Work to meet customers' requirements.
6. Retain current customers while actively identifying and pursuing new and related business opportunities for the company.
7. Review pricing policies to ensure competitiveness and recommend changes as needed.
8. Manage RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and tenders.
9. Provide market feedback through close liaison with customers.
10. Comply with all scopes and KPIs stipulated in customer contracts.

Job Description

- Handle freight forwarding activities (import & export), local transportation jobs, transhipments & overseas logistics matters.

- Proficient in handling both airfreight and sea freight logistics.

- Physical handling of cargo is required.

- Perform customer billing and invoicing.

- Provide effective and pro-active logistics support solutions for clients.

- Responsible for maintaining positive customer relations & positive customer service experience.

- Handling emails and phone calls pertaining to customer’s requests and enquires.

- Processing of customers’ orders.

- Provide real time updates on job progress into Transport Management System.

Job Description

• Transport and deliver the products in a professional, safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner.
• Confirm customer order accuracy, including loading and unloading trucks, recording inventory, and managing deliveries.
• Safe driving of loaded and empty tanker trucks of various sizes, makes/models, and configurations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required by company, customers, and all local Laws & Regulations stipulated by local governmental agencies.

Job Requirements

• Applicants should possessed valid Class 4 license
• Applicants should have experience driving Trailer and/or Rigid Trucks
• Applicants will have to undergo 1.5 - 2 months of training

Working hours:

6 days work 7am to 7pm (1 off day as per schedule)
