Responsibilities

• Supervisory and escalation level of Sea Freight operations within Rhenus Logistics office in Singapore.
• Ensure that the relevant Ocean Operations Department performs their duties in accordance with the SOP and KPI’s set.

- Issues during on-carriage, such as add on of CRM contacts in time and/or disagreement between customer and sub-contractor

- Highlighting recurring system issues and change requests in coordination with next tier level

- Clarification and investigation as a supporting role to Accounting in terms of late settlement of payment to vendors and by customers due to operational issues

- Management of special requirements, such as provision of local charges in terms of OOG, DG, Reefer to local sales and overseas offices

Requirement

Site Testing Engineer

Job Description

• Lead the assigned dedicated work scope of Test and Commissioning
• Conduct all required Test Procedure, Methodology & equipment testing activities in site related to project to obtain sign-off from Customer.
• Preparation of technical proposals (testing and commissioning) for submission to LTA Singapore.
• To arrange all test equipment required for testing in coordination with site Manager & team leader.
• Mobilization of required test equipment arranged and made ready to commence testing in time.
• Coordinate and liaise with Customers on application of Permit-To-Work for testing activities for approved proceedings.
• Prepare and compile test report for submission to customer
• Prepare and draft Method Statement Risk Assessment.

Procurement and Logistics Executive specializing in Procurement, Import and Export shipments plays a crucial role in managing the purchases of the organisation and international movement of goods. The candidate to ensure compliance of procurement policy, logistics regulations and optimizing transportation and logistics operations. Effective communication and collaboration with forwarders, suppliers and internal stakeholders are the key success in this role. This position reports to the Procurement Manager.

Procurement

• Responsible for the smooth & efficient operations of Purchasing and the company.
• Ensure all purchases for Projects and Shared Services are from qualified / approved suppliers and in compliance with the Purchasing Policies.
• Coordinate with project personnel on Project / Shared services procurement activities, while meeting delivery, lead-time and specification requirements.
• Issuance and Process of Purchase Order daily.
• Responsible for maintaining all Purchasing Documents.
• Duly expediting and tracking progress of all Purchase Orders.
• Ensure timely and correct delivery of goods and services.
• Monitors and proactive managed past due Purchase Orders.
• Generate Open Purchase Order Report, Review, update and maintain Open Orders till closed.
• Perform Goods Valuation Note (“GVN”) in system.

• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to coordinate the shipment of goods, including scheduling, packaging requirements, and documentation. Ensure timely delivery of products to meet production or customer demands.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics service providers to arrange transportation, including selecting the appropriate carriers, negotiating rates, and monitoring the performance of forwarders.
• Review all necessary import and export documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and import/export licenses. Accuracy and completeness of documentation are critical to avoiding delays and compliance issues.
• Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods, including selecting shipping methods (e.g., air, sea, road) based on cost, transit time, and product characteristics. Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and transit times.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with import and export activities, such as transportation delays, customs issues, or damage to goods. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
• Stay up to date with import and export regulations and trade compliance requirements. Ensure that all shipments adhere to international trade laws and regulations.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with internal teams, suppliers, forwarders, and customs authorities. Provide regular reports on shipment status, transit times, and any issues or exceptions.
• Address and resolve any issues related to import/export shipments promptly, such as customs delays, damaged goods, or transportation disruptions.
• Continuously assess the performance of freight forwarders and logistics partners, considering factors like reliability, cost-effectiveness, and customer service.
• Determine the correct tariff classifications for imported and exported goods to calculate duties and taxes accurately.
• Take advantage of trade agreements and preferential trade programs that can reduce tariffs and trade barriers for specific products and countries.
• Any other Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in relevant or related fields for Procurement and Logistics.
• Min 5 years of work experience in Water Treatment Industry preferred.
• Experience in Project Procurement and contract management environment preferred.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Central Logistics and Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics and warehouse operations within the dynamic marine industry and wind farm sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations, combined with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the offshore sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies that align with the company's objectives and support efficient operations. Ensure effective execution of full logistics scope transport planning for on-site/ on-deck deliveries /collections.
• Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with suppliers, port agencies, and partners to ensure timely, safe, and effective deployment of materials, spare parts, and equipment required for operations.
• Import/Export Control: Specializing in import-export operations including controlled equipment, you will be entrusted with overseeing the intricate and regulated movement of Fugro equipment across international borders. Your expertise will ensure compliance with relevant regulations including permits, import/export regulations and tax implication, and the safe transportation of controlled items/ equipment.
• Warehouse Operations: Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including inventory management, storage optimization, and order fulfillment, to ensure smooth safe, and efficient operations, play a pivotal role in the implementation of the 5S methodology. Your expertise in applying these principles will be critical to maintaining a high standard of excellence within our warehouses located in Asia.
• Inventory Control: Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies, manage inventory turnover, and ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with industry standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of logistics and warehouse professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• Proper lifting equipment handling, and maintenance protect staff and help minimize downtime.
• Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall operational efficiency within the business lines.
• Quality and Safety: Work with QHSSE, Project stakeholders to ensure adherence to industry regulations, Fugro safety standards/policies, and quality assurance protocols in all logistics and warehouse activities, contributing to a safe and compliant work environment onshore and offshore, ensuring the safe operation of lifting equipment to prevent accidents, injuries, and fatalities.
• Data Analysis, setting goals, and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), develop strategies & roadmap, evaluate logistics and warehouse performance, and present regular reports to senior management.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with cross-functional teams, Service Lines, Operations, Fleet Services team, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Budget Management: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and manage logistics budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience of 8-10 years in logistics and warehouse management, with a focus on shipping/ project logistics, geotechnical engineering offshore wind or EPCI Offshore logistics.
• In-depth knowledge of marine industry logistics practices, regulations, and challenges.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing teams, motivating the staff, and driving performance.
• Possess excellent and impressive communication abilities and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational/supply chain issues.
