• Responsible for supporting Key Account (KA) and Target Account(TA) business growth by solution business development approach.

Position Overview

Primary responsible to provide support to International Freight Forwarding (IFF) on regional Implementations and related IT Solutions, in line with Global and Regional Strategic Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Business Process Management (BPM) and International Freight Forwarding (IFF) teams for any Process/Solution discussions related to IFF areas.

• Working knowledge on project tracking software or knowledge in using JIRA is strongly preferred. and/or related issue tracking software

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing full set of accounts for the company’s subsidiary & related party.
• Responsible for netting payments / intercompany reconciliation with other Rhenus entities
• Responsible for monitoring and managing accounts receivables, payables, cash pool, loans and enhancing effective credit control strategies.
• Involve in external audit and tax.
• Any other assigned duties by management

Requirements:

• As a member of this team, you know the basic accounting principles and the processes end to end with solid accounting background where you fully understood all your Debit & Credit entries
• Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels in the organization.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
• Constantly demonstrating pro-activeness and efficiency in enhancing methods and processes
• Good command of English language, written and verbal
• To take ownership of each tasks assigned, being open and down to earth.
• Bachelors in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a solid accounting role

Job Description:

- Custom Brokerage/Declaring Agent

- Office located at Alps Avenue, Nearest MRT Station: Pasir Ris

- Desk bound job.

- Complete Declaration at stipulated rate per day and per hour with full compliance.

- Maintain account assigned for exception declarations.

- Follow up on daily shipment holds and find solutions in a timely manner to process the customs clearance

- Respond to phone and email enquiries on brokerage- related services

- Prepare and provide various reports in a timely manner to meet customers’ timelines

Requirements:

- Able to start work immediately

- 5 working day

- Possess good work ethics and positive attitude

- Able to handle pressure & adapt in a fast-pace environment

- Knowledge in Mircosoft Excel is a must

- Expect overtime on a regular basis
