Role Description:

This is a full-time role for an Assistant Warehouse Manager with a strong focus on both business development and warehouse operations to join our team. This role requires a versatile individual who can effectively manage warehouse activities while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion in our logistics services.

This is a Sales position and not an operation-only position.

Business Development (80%)

1. Lead a team to prepare tender documents and respond to RFQ.
2. Acquire new business accounts from the general pool of RFQ/tender.
3. Manage & coach a team of executives to conduct sales & optimization projects.
4. Able to answer for allocated P&L and as such bring in new customer accounts.
5. Have your own channel for bringing in new customers.

Warehouse Operations (20%)

1. Lead, drive, and in charge of warehouse operations, meeting customer requirements and achieving agreed key performance indicators.
2. Review warehouse processes for optimization and lead Management of Change
3. Plan warehouse storage layout to achieve optimization

Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree holders in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
2. More than 3 years managing a warehouse in a third-party logistics company
3. Good communication skills and customer-oriented
4. Able to multi-tasked and meet timeline
5. Must have at least 2 years of sales/business development experience

Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of air freight operations. This includes coordinating with respective stakeholder in each station to ensure choice of carriage and negotiate with airlines.

Responsibilities:-

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize air freight operations within the region, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and targets.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage Country Airfreight team, including training.
• Airlines Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key airlines to manage performance, negotiate contract, ad hoc shipments.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor and oversee day-to-day air freight operations, including cargo booking, quality standards.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and drive operational efficiency.
• Risk Management & Solutions:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to air freight operations, capacity constraint.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for air freight operations, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
• Continuous Improvement:Promote continuous improvement within the team across operations, initiating innovation and implementing best practices.

Requirements:-

• Min bachelor’s degree in logistics / supply chain management or related discipline
• 8 years of experience in air freight operations, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
• In-depth knowledge of air cargo industry regulations, practices, and trends.

Purpose

To input and consolidate data, perform reconciliation, Verify, prepare monthly financial reports, quarterly budget follow-up reports, attending to queries and assist Team Lead, Accounts and/or Technical Fleet Manager in any ad hoc Accounts related task which may arise.

Responsibilities

· Verify Technical Managements monthly/quarterly financial reports submitted & communicate for any deviations, clarifications.

· Checking & Preparing funds request to vessel Managers and update funds schedule on a monthly basis.

· Performing vessel bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.

· Verifying payroll entries on a monthly basis

· Verifying opening balances of onboard cash acc, provision and bond stores.

· Verifying all purchases made with cash onboard are supported by original receipt.

· Verifying all expenses are supported with proper documents.

· Ensuring expenses are coded accordingly and approved by relevant Crewing Manager, Vessel Manager and Fleet Manager (where appropriate).

· Verifying the Insurance distribution.

· Verifying Managers vessel balance sheet items on a monthly basis

· Post journal entries (as and when required) with regards to Owner -Manager Disbursement and other accounting entries / adjustments related to financial reports.

· Preparing and submitting of monthly reports for vessel owners/stake holders within the deadlines.

· Ensuring supporting documents are adequate and complete.

Qualifications

· Diploma in accounting and/or finance or equivalent in professional accounting body

· Minimum 2 year working experience in a related field

· Proficient in MS office applications especially MS Excel.

· Good command of English.

· Work experience with shipping company is preferred.

Principle Responsibilities: -

1. Manage the order taking procedure and support logistics coordination, communicating with suppliers, warehouse, forwarders and the importers (clients) for all export matters.
2. Responsible for completing and ensuring compliance with the full set of regulatory documentation process for international shipments.
3. Arrange packaging and documentation in alignment with specific country requirements.
4. Monitor and update shipment status to the importers (clients).
5. Perform data entry and maintain accurate documentation and records in ERP system in accordance with company policies and procedures.
6. Process all trade related purchases/invoices/payment documentation.
7. Coordinate and participate in annual stock-take activities.
8. Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:-

1. Diploma in Logistics or related fields.
2. At least 3 years of relevant experience in trading or shipping industry.
3. Possess good knowledge of full set of export shipping documentation, such as letter of credit.
4. Capability to manage large amount of data, by means of Excel and ERP.
5. Possess strong communication and time management skills.
6. Knowledge or keen interest in musical instruments and/or audio products is an advantage

Assistant Production & Logistics Manager

Working hours: 5-days (Mon to Fri) / 8 am to 4.30pm

Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided near Jurong East MRT)

Salary : $5000 -$7000 + $250(Allowance)

The Assistant Production & Logistics Manager assists the Production & Logistic Manager in the management of the Production department and Plant operation.

Responsibilities

• To support Production Manager in leading Production & Logistics department to ensure safe and stable operation in Daily, GCM (grade change maintenance) and SDM (Shut down maintenance) operation and planning.
• To follow up with Technical and Maintenance department on critical mechanical or E&I issues that impact plant safety, quality, and reliability.
• To lead in managing the Local and Global CARs (Corrective Action Request) relating to Safety, Quality, Reliability and Stable operation matters under Production and Logistics department and manage to ensure CARs are well followed.
• To lead and support capex related matters from Production team. Capex matters include planning, proposal, study, Hazop, commissioning and evaluation in each of the Capex planning phases.
• To support and lead in new production grade trial operation with the trial planning, manpower arrangement, coordination with other various department and in house contractors to ensure smooth operation during the trial.
• To assist or lead Global MOC relating to raw material planning, new specification changes, and packaging design changes.
• To participate and support Production & Logistics Manager in providing information and evidence during HSEQ, Stable Operation, LQA, and Budget preparation, including to make investigation summary or report.
• To undertake special assignments or projects as directed by the Production & Logistics Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience in Production, Operations etc. in the Chemical industry.
