The Head of Group MD office assists the Group MD in various operations and provide support to the Group MD to make decisions and carry out their work in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Strategic Operations
· Strategic recommendations to the Group MD perspective.
· Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of steps required.
· Create content as needed
· Close coordination with the CEO Office (Corporate Strategy Team) in headquarter for efficient and organic communication between secretaries to ensure smooth implementation of management strategies
Basic Operations
· Attend meetings together as required
· Set up meetings as required. (Scheduling by secretary)
· Prepare for meetings (Format, participants, meeting materials, pre briefing if required, prepare materials/scripts, etc.)
· Recording and tracking of action items in each meeting
· Prepare for customer visits (Confirm context of meeting, obtain background of customers if needed, conduct pre briefing if needed.)
· Recognize connection between various issues from a company-wide perspective and examine from all angles.
· Identify major events throughout the year and organize the action items (When, what, who, preparations needed, etc)
· Work with DSPU to ensure appropriate IT environment for the Group MD.
Job Requirements
· Extensive board knowledge, understanding of the external environment and competitive landscape, and the ability to communicate this accurately to management to support the Group MD to make decision.
· Experience of strategic office to make management plan such as mid-term plan and/or annual target plan.
- Thorough understanding of business processes in the ICT industry, desirable in the ASEAN and India region.
- Intercultural experience and ability to act in a complex and rapidly changing business environment within a complex matrix structure.
- Experience with change management and ability to lead a large operations group through change process and maintaining the operational performance.
- Significant experience in a managerial capacity within a large international organization.
- Ability to develop, deploy and implement strategy in the ASEAN and India region, aligned with the global initiatives. This includes change management, continuous improvement and process re-design.
- Have experience in extensive people and relationship management across all levels at headquarter; and with regional internal and external stakeholders.
- Managerial and operational experience obtained through leading teams.
- Frequent ASEAN and India region travel required.
