Job Description
- Meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits.
- Demonstrating and presenting event venues
- Establishing new business.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Reviewing sales performance.
- Negotiating contracts and packages.
- Create and maintain a good working relationship with the Banquet Team & Culinary Team.
- Negotiate and review weddings / social packages offered to clients.
- Implement and maintain catering/banquet and other applicable Management Systems
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree from a recognized hospitality / tertiary institution.
- 3 years or more experience in a similar role in a event sales
- Proven record in delivering operating results in operations focusing on personalised service.
- Experienced in managing diverse relationships, i.e. Multi-Cultural / Racial teams as well as local communities.
- Pro Active & Responsible.
- Has an understanding of budgeting and financial management.
- Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
