The Key Account Manager (KAM) plays a critical role in developing and managing strategic relationships with key military defence customers. You will be responsible for understanding their specific needs, developing tailored solutions, and driving profitable sales growth within the account.
Responsibilities:
- Develop deep understanding of assigned military defence accounts, including their procurement processes, budgetary cycles, and strategic priorities.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations, fostering trust and open communication.
- Proactively identify customer needs and challenges related to military equipment, technology, or services.
- Develop and present customized solutions that address customer requirements and align with our company's capabilities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle for assigned accounts, from initial contact through proposal generation, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Oversee account profitability, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, etc.) to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, military technologies, and government regulations impacting the defence sector.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials tailored to military defence customers.
- Travel to customer locations for meetings, presentations, and relationship building activities (when permissible).
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience dealing with customer from military & defence's sector
- Solid experience in managing key customer & willing to support building new customers
