Digital Marketing Officer (Maternity Cover)

Dulwich College (Singapore) is looking for a Digital Marketing Officer (Maternity Cover) to support the Marketing team in day-to-day activities and projects. This is a 4-month maternity contract from 14 August 2024 to 18 December 2024.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing

  • Day-to-day management of all advertising platforms (Google Ads, GDN, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Print)
  • End-to-end execution of paid advertising campaigns including planning
  • Manage campaign optimisations and boosting
  • Undertake regular market research and competitor analysis
  • Keyword research and SEO analytics
  • Assist in copy writing for a range of channels, including website, eDM’s, and paid advertising.
  • Website management, copywriting and ongoing improvement
  • Format and update graphics provided on a variety of creative media.
  • Manage workflow to deliver projects, digital and print assets within agreed timeframes and budget.
  • Maintain and manage digital files.
  • Design, development and ongoing management of online marketing toolkit – keeping content current and updated.
  • Create alignment across all marketing activities, managed by calendar and process to ensure consistency and quality.

Brand Marketing

  • Be a brand guardian, maintaining correct usage of all brand assets and identify anything that doesn’t meet brand standards.
  • Independently managing day-to-day marketing processes and assisting the schools with specific marketing efforts.
  • Internal branding and visual equity – Working with schools to continue developing their interiors such as stickered quotes on walls, framed photos, etc.
  • Collateral and video production, using InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop / iMovie effectively to create and produce events programmes, brochures, posters, templates, invitations, videos, and other materials.
  • Graphic design services – creating brand-aligned posters for Whole School events, advertorial creatives, updating brochures and templates, etc.

Marketing Services

  • Assist in leading photography planning for the College and managing the rollout and ongoing support of the new software for school photography management.
  • Assist with event coordination including design of invitations and signage.
  • Assisting the events and communications team when required and ensure that all events and digital prints are branded correctly.
  • Oversee management of the whole College merchandise range for shop sales, events and corporate functions.
  • Training and building capability among staff - develop training modules to send to staff with regular updates from marketing toolkit.

All other duties commensurate with the post.

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in marketing or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role in a professional environment;
  • Strong creative and design skills in advertising design and copywriting to be able to capture the message nuance;
  • Strong background in the Adobe Creative suite, specifically in Illustrator & Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Experience of working with online design packages, and undertaking design work;
  • Experience in leading on marketing projects and to be proactive in contributing ideas and seeing them through to completion;
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision, and to also work well in a team;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing;
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office, and design software packages;
  • Good administrative skills and the ability to organise own workload effectively;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across the whole organisation as required;
  • The ability to use own initiative in undertaking the duties of the role.
