We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in the security role. In this role, you will provide the overall operational management direction and leadership for security services and support the operational readiness, activation and transition (ORAT) plan of the hospital. You will work with stakeholders to develop operational models in line with the development of hospital services and care model, develop operational workflows and emergency response/security plans, co-develop workflow simulations based on various scenarios to test new models both virtually and on physical prototypes in the EGH Healthcare Living Lab. You will be required to manage an in-house core team, as well as our outsourced partners/ service providers and concurrently develop procurement and resourcing plans to support the security operations, whilst implementing initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of the security operations, which include implementing new technologies like virtual patrol, video analytics, outcomes-based contracting, and sustainable practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years of experience in management of hospital operations
- Good knowledge in supporting both front-end and back-end security services
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation with multi-generational staff
- Team player, highly motivated and action-oriented with excellent planning, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change and manage challenges
