This position reports to the Director and interfaces with clients and venders. The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships, developing strategies, and ensuring the successful implementation of business plans.
Specific Responsibilities
- Identifying opportunities by understanding industry trends and customer needs to find potential markets, and seeking out new clients, partners, or markets for the company's offerings.
- Developing sales strategies by creating plans to reach sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Strategic planning which includes strategic growth planning and working with senior management to develop long-term growth strategies. He/she is responsible to help identify new markets or segments to expand the company's reach.
- Leading and managing sales activities and, cross-functional collaboration by working with onshore and offshore marketing, sales, product development, and other teams to achieve common goals.
- Establishing and directing operational and administrative procedures related to sales activities.
- Representing the enterprise or organisation at sales meeting, marketing conventions, and trade exhibitions.
