Job Responsibilities
1. Sales & Marketing and Customer Service
Strategies and lead the Sales Team to network, identify opportunities and bring in new
customers and sales service to customers.
Review and approve the sales targets by each sales personnel based on projections, past trends
and outlook in the shipping industry.
Commit to the sales and profitability targets to meet company’s sales and profitability targets.
Guide the Sales Team in analysing the flow and sales forecast/projections so that sales
personnel can proactively engage these customers before their ships are due for servicing or
repairs.
Deal and negotiate with key customers on pricings and contract terms.
Meet and engage key customers to maintain relationships with them.
Provide guidance and advisory to other departments with institutional knowledge as and when
being approached
Ability to travel and work independently.
Provide leadership, strategic inputs and advice to direct staff
Job Requirement
a) Recognised Degree/Diploma in any discipline or equivalent
b) 12 to 15 years of job-related experience
c) An experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the marine industry
d) Able to speak both technically and commercially
e) Highly organised with an entrepreneurial approach
f) A flexible and adaptable attitude
g) Possess Class 3 Driving Licence
h) Able and willing to travel
