Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the data center and command center infrastructure, playing a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our systems.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise maintenance activities to ensure they align with the maintenance plan.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to optimize performance, safety, and reliability.
• Enforce security measures to prevent unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Process operational service requests promptly, such as physical access clearance and equipment movement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assets and facility records, including resource allocations and network port connections.
• Generate regular reports on data center performance.
• Respond to incidents and service interruptions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, security specialists, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless integration and operation of infrastructure.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on maintenance status and coordinating activities to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate and manage the technology refresh of End User Computing Devices (EUCD) to replace faulty or expiring devices promptly.
• Manage the provisioning and de-provisioning of EUCD.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the ICT Industry and/or Public sector
Excellent communication skills across all levels are required.
Previous experience in data center operations is highly desirable.
Proficiency in technical aspects of facility infrastructures such as generators, uninterruptible power supplies, and computer room air conditioning is required.
Demonstrates strong ownership, proactivity, conceptual thinking, and analytical skills.
Possesses strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
