Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Project Manager to join our team. This dual-role position requires a professional who can drive sales growth while efficiently managing design projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, excellent client relationship skills, and a proven track record in sales and project management.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Introduction to company mission, vision, values, and goals. Overview of the company's portfolio and past projects. Training on company software and tools (CRM, project management software, design tools). Trainee will shadow director for guidance and to attend client meetings and project briefings. Review current projects and understand their status and challenges.

2. Trainee will attend sales training with director focusing on techniques, negotiation, and closing deals. Study the target market and ideal client profiles. Analyze competitors and understand the company’s unique selling propositions (USPs).

3. Trainee to develop a personal sales plan aligned with the company's sales goals. Start building a pipeline of potential clients.Participate in sales calls and follow-ups with potential clients.

4. Trainee will have training on project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Learn about resource planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Study risk management and problem-solving techniques. Assist in managing a small project under supervision. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers. Track project progress and report to director.

5. Trainee will have training on client relationship management (CRM) techniques. Learn about client needs assessment and expectation management. Develop personalized follow-up strategies for existing clients.

6. Trainee to attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions. Initiate regular check-ins with current clients to ensure satisfaction. Gather feedback from clients to improve services and processes.

7. Trainee will have advanced sales training focusing on large accounts and high-value deals. Develop strategies for upselling and cross-selling. Study case studies of successful project completions. Manage a medium-sized project from start to finish. Implement advanced project management techniques learned. Ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

8. Trainee to do a self-assessment and reflection on the past six months. Gather feedback from clients. Performance review meeting with director. Set SMART goals for the next six months. Create a personal development plan to address any identified weaknesses. Discuss potential for additional responsibilities or new roles.
