Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to align with company objectives and industry standards.
· Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
· Provide oversight and guidance to the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, payroll, compensation, benefits, training and development.
· Oversee Human Resource & Admin department functions, including facilities management, safety compliance, and support services.
· Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop workforce strategies.
· Ensure compliance with labour laws, safety regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
· Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning within the organization.
· Drive talent development and succession planning initiatives.
· Lead, mentor, and manage the HR team, ensuring a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
· Prepare and manage the department's budget effectively.
· Provide strategic HR guidance to senior management and support the company's long-term objectives.
· To host, organise, support or participate in events, conferences or functions in relation to sustainability/ corporate social responsibility/ corporate events of SCIB Group.
· Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess and improve the effectiveness of HR programs
· Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Management
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.
· Minimum 6 years working experience in Human Resource Management.
· Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work independently with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
· Multi-tasking with a detail orientation and commitment to accountability in a fast-paced environment.
· Well versed in Sarawak Labour Ordinance, Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Trade Union Act 1959, Statutory Law, etc.
· Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Knowledge of local dialects an added advantage.
