and quality control and assurance approaches.
The Technology function is responsible for activities related to the strategic direction and control of all information systems and technology
capabilities, both internally and externally. Includes system design and programming, network planning, budget planning, database
management, and computer operations
Job Description
• Analyze and plan change requests and projects related to Financial Reporting, Management Accounting AND Regulatory reporting applications using Teradata
• Perform regulatory requirements and data analyses, functional solution review, User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
• Understand the technology and operational needs of Financial and Regulatory reporting functions in the Bank.
• Work with Finance users in gathering and analyze user requirement, identify opportunities for improvement and articulate business requirements into functional requirement for functional design document.
• Perform User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
Job Requirement
- Minimum of 2 years working experience, preferably in the banking/financial services industry and with exposure and participation in at least 1 major project
- Foundational knowledge of Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards, as well as familiarity with the financial/regulatory reporting process and submission frequency
- Understanding of the process of change management, regulatory changes and the reporting cycles
- Able to oversee change management, as well as track, manage and escalate issues
- Experience in conducting UAT, logging errors and documenting test scripts, results and findings
- Proficiency in SQL scripting, MS Excel functions including Pivot table is a must
- Good understanding of Data Architecture, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence subjects
- Experience with use of analytics tools such as Power BI, OBIEE and QlikSense is a plus
- Possess good communication skills, a curious nature and strong ability in problem identification, variance analyses and issue resolution
- Team player, meticulous and able to work independently and motivate others
