Job Description
As the Senior Vice President (SVP) within the Group Information Technology (GIT) division, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's technological landscape. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, infrastructure management, global service delivery, and cybersecurity operations.
- Strategic Planning and Vision:Define and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals.
Drive innovation and evaluate emerging trends.
- Infrastructure Management:Oversee robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
Optimize cloud services (AWS, Azure) for efficiency.
- Global Service Delivery:Lead infrastructure services across global operations.
Ensure consistent service levels and operational excellence.
- Cybersecurity Operations:Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.
Protect systems, data, and intellectual property from cyber threats.
- Technical Expertise:Maintain knowledge of networking, firewalls, Microsoft services, and cybersecurity tools.
Lead technology adoption and transformation efforts.
- Financial Management:Manage budgets for IT projects and operations.
Optimize resource allocation and evaluate ROI for technology investments.
- People Leadership:Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team.
Mentor and develop talent, ensuring succession planning.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as an IT leader at a senior management level or equivalent.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive change.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
