HR Manager (Healthcare) [ 5 days, Toa Payoh]

Key Responsibilities:


Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues, providing guidance and resolution.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring consistent and fair evaluations.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Organize and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and fair offerings.
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure compensation packages are aligned with industry standards.
  • Oversee benefits administration and address employee inquiries.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
