Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues, providing guidance and resolution.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring consistent and fair evaluations.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Organize and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and fair offerings.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure compensation packages are aligned with industry standards.
- Oversee benefits administration and address employee inquiries.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR activities and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and healthcare regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
