The Role
As part of the international expansion, our client is establishing footprint in Singapore and opening its first store in Orchard Road. The Shop Manager is a newly created position and is a crucial role in launching the business in the country from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Moutai retail store, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Manage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and accurate record-keeping.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain the cash register accurately.
- Develop and implement in-store promotional activities and events to drive sales.
- Train and supervise retail staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the alcoholic beverages or luxury goods sector.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and sales reporting.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as needed.
