Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the express delivery department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics; implement improvements as necessary.
- Resolve operational issues and customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Maintain fleet vehicles and ensure they meet safety standards.
- Train and supervise operational staff to uphold service excellence.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in operations management, preferably in the logistics or express delivery industry.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with logistics software is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics.
