Job Description
- Work closely with stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to shape the company's data strategy and management and support the regional technology roadmap.
- Build and maintain relationships with program/operations staff to help inform and align technical goals with user needs.
- Support and guide the implementation of data governance and the management of data quality, reference and master data, and metadata.
- Support and guide the development of data capture solutions and technology, including data systems as well as operational business data.
- Ensure the Regional Office and Programs business processes and capabilities aligns with the global data management strategy and processes.
- Provide recommendations and input to data governance metrics and report improvements and opportunities.
- Work directly with country programs to coordinate technology development and data capture.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related technical field, and with equivalent practical experience.
- Atleast 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on data management and solutions.
- Strong understanding of data management and data governance, and experience with data collection and integration systems.
- Familiarity with data architecture, customer solutions architecture, and/or data engineering.
- Strong customer-facing experience translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with CRM, lightweight data capture systems, and offline field data capture.
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, etc is ideal.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is ideal.
