- Assist in the installation and configuration of radar, GPS, navigation, and communication systems on marine vessels, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
- Provide on-site and remote technical assistance during project phases, addressing issues related to marine electronic systems and ensuring reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions in marine electronics, employing diagnostic tools and expertise to facilitate prompt repairs.
- Support routine maintenance checks and servicing of electronic systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct training sessions for clients on the operation and maintenance of installed marine electronic equipment, promoting safe usage.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and compliance records for regulatory purposes.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet company standards of reliability and innovation, aligning with client expectations.
- Participate in site evaluations to determine client needs and assist in recommending appropriate electronic solutions based on vessel specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, engineering, and product development teams to support project objectives and provide feedback for product improvement.
- Stay informed on advancements in marine electronics technology and industry trends to enhance project execution capabilities.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project support for marine electronic systems, focusing on radar, GPS, navigation, and communication solutions.
- Strong understanding of marine electronic systems, troubleshooting techniques, and familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
