Business Development Manager

Goldenport Marine Pte. Ltd.

Goldenport Marine, a leading provider of marine services in Singapore, is seeking talented individuals to join our growing team! In this exciting role, you'll play a key role in our success by Building strong relationships with new clients across our service offerings, including de-slopping, de-bunkering, tank cleaning, fuel distribution, and ship management, developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand Goldenport's market share in Singapore and targeted regional markets.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations showcasing Goldenport's capabilities and value proposition.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed of industry trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across operations, sales, and marketing to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Prepare and present business development reports to track progress and measure success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the maritime services industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business growth objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.
  • In-depth understanding of the Singaporean maritime industry and its regulations (a plus).
  • Experience in conducting market research and competitor analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (a plus).
  • Fluent in English; fluency in additional languages (Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia) is considered a strong asset.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
