Job Description:
We are currently seeking a proactive and organized Manpower Coordinator to join our team in Singapore's vibrant construction sector. As a Manpower Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deployment of workers to various construction sites according to project requirements and urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule workers to site locations based on project timelines and manpower needs.
- Maintain constant communication with project managers and site supervisors to understand staffing requirements.
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure availability of skilled workers and compliance with labor regulations.
- Monitor daily workforce deployment and adjust staffing plans as per site conditions and project progress.
- Ensure efficient use of manpower resources to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Address staffing emergencies and urgent requirements by swiftly mobilizing workers to site.
- Track attendance and work hours of deployed workers and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of new workers as per project demands.
- Maintain accurate records of manpower deployment and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in related field.
- Proven experience as a Manpower Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry, preferably in Singapore.
- Strong understanding of construction project dynamics and manpower planning.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations pertaining to construction industry.
