SAMH SAY-IT! (Sports, Arts, Youth Integrated Team) provides assessment and intervention for youths, and engages
youths for ongoing monitoring and support. YIT also works actively with youth agencies, schools and community
partners to provide holistic case management for youths and their families.
Key Responsibilities for Case Worker:
- Conduct mental health assessment for youths
- Provide individualised case management, counselling and psychosocial interventions for youths and their families
- Develop and conduct mental health outreach and programmes in the community
- Ensure active monitoring and support for youths
- Network with community partners for collaboration and co-management
- Perform administrative duties and manage day-to-day operations
Person Specifications:
- Minimum degree in Psychology, Social Work or related discipline
- Experience working in Social Service Agencies,especially youth work will be an added advantage
- Experience with facilitation, case management counselling
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience with and having skills in the arts(visual arts, music, drama, dance, etc.) and/or sports will be an added advantage
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience
